What is going on with this arti?? I know myself and a few others who have camped this artifact for the last week or so - yet no pop.

I can't see what the point in making such a long pop time is! This needs so sorted.

Can someone please tell me that this is not bugged and I have not wasted in excess of 24 hours this last week camping it.

Whilst your at it, does anyone have an e-mail address I can send in my comments into the dodgy character that designed some of this stuff.

Many have complained that the vest is never up Maybe the spawn timer is bugged or something? You could send a note to GOA with Rightnow (I suspect many have already done so).

But once you get the vest you have even greater pain ahead of you Leveling the damn thing!

i spent 12 hours straigth not leaving screen and it never popped. it pops really rare but it do pop.

Camping encounters is abit silly imo, just log in and check it now and often, when you say you've camped this or that for 12+ hours straight! think of what you could have been doing in that time available, rvr'd some rp, had some fun, maybe skilled alil in a craft, farmed a lil bit, helped someone else out, lots.

Also if you can't staring at that same spot for like 12 hours its abit like saying thats mine! when its up, all leads to a huge disappoint ment if someone comes and does it while your afk or some shit...

Well this is what happened this week:

I checked it every morning at 8:00am. Monday (Last night), I met up with a BM who had camped it for 5 hours until 8:00PM. Then I went back at 12:00AM (Midnight), then I camped it checking my screen every 2 hours until 8:00am Tuesday morning. This means that the Pop was easily in excess of 17 Hours. Which I am afraid is just stupid!

Sending an e-mail to them to see if this is bugged.

BTW: this camping is after the countless hours collecting the Wings!

Well camped it again tonight from 4:30 and was still not up at 7:30. So this is just plain stupid.

I have sent the e-mail. Will post on here their reply.

Kinda feeling that STFU Goa this game sucks if you honestly think that people will be sad enough to sit there doing nowt for 24+ hours. Get a life. At least I did not camp it with main.

The shocking thing is this: I don't mind spending time on the game killing things or questing or doing something, but if they honeslty think that people will sit for hours in front of a PC.. but then well I guess someone is sad enough to do it. At the end of the day I would prefer to have a life and maybe be not soo effective in rvr which is so damn zerg it makes no odds anyway... so oh hum..

You can buy the vest for about 5p on ME - go to Tey with the gloves, and talk to him and the arti will work.

Artifacts and Researchers

- Scarab Wing Vest - Due to a bug previous bug with the maubastet Tey, some players below level 46 were able to acquire (but not activate) the Golden Scarab Vest. Since credit for the encounter is not awarded below level 46 and Tey will only give one pair of Magical Scarab-wing Gloves to each player, these players are now stuck. We have put in a fix these players so they may activate the Golden Scarab Vest. Players that are stuck may obtain credit for the Scarab Wing Vest encounter by speaking to Tey provided they meet all of these requirements: they have previously obtained the Magical Scarab-wing Gloves from Tey, they are now at least level 46, they have neutral faction with the maubastet, they have the Golden Scarab Vest artifact in their inventory, and they have not received credit for the Scarab Wing Vest or its encounter already.


This way you don't need to camp etc, or farm for cash instead of the time you are camping - try getting some nice scrolls - borrow a warrior + bb.
