I know what you mean... I spend more time lfg than I do in a group. I sit at tanglers for 45 minutes, then eventually get invited into a group... oh dear damn I gtg in a few minutes. At 40+ you cant casually play you have to play all the time.

This really is a big problem. Last night, for example, I did get into a tree group. And after about 30 minutes of fighting we had a list with 20 people on it!

Tree groups are sometimes hard to get into, thats right. But if you are put on a list, ask who else is on it. Start your own, or do small group tanglerpulls. Anything is better then just sitting waiting for a group...

Aye. You come to exp spot - we're full, we're full, we're full - but wait - we have a lot of people asking same question as you. Ofcause you run into favorite national alibion game - find a CC to start exping, but actually a couple of descent smite clerics can do the same thing as sorc Though it will involve a bit more running.
Yesterday exped at tanglers with _no_ CC /waves Baby and it was just uber - never had so much fan at tanglers.
And don`t forget about DF - this place is awesome for exp and you can end your evening smashing a few middies. Later this evening we ventured into it and though we had two 50s in group my exp (43) was still capped Sadly the attempt to run to mid portal ended too fast.

With the right ppl on the right spot in DF exp can be great, a few days ago we did Shredders with a 5 ppl grp, 2 (smite) clerics, a sorcerer, an infiltrator and me, each kill gives us 25-45 mil exp and nice loot.

i did start a thug, got fed up with w8ing either at witherwood(main) or gobos for a group(alt scout).

you dont have to level in groups...

i leveled from 47-50 with one other person. yes it took 3/4 days of 6-8hours a day for each level, but its possible.

cleric / air theurg combo. would probably work with any large dmg ranged dealing class (scout, wizzie, any nuker etc). nuker pulls, cleric stuns. cleric heals/instaheals/smites to save the day if needbe.


47+48 we did in lyonesse (moorliches, dan. farmers, dan. soliders, pikemen camp (late at night)) + barrows (advsiors, wizards, phantoms)

49 we did in pennines on the cyraheth thingies.

lyon mobs range from 7-30mil per kill
barrows mobs range from 18-35mil per kill
cyras range from 20-51mil per kill

aim for 25% (2.5bubs) per day, and stick to it. yes its tedious but once its done its done

just an insight to alterntative leveling outside of treegroups

(yes i know this wont work for some classes )
