Grey killing in yggdra

I love yggdra, its my most loving hunting ground in midgard.

So, when my alts are high enough I go there.

Lots of mobs, money drops, lovely environnement.

But since I started maerin and go with him there it isn't like it was before.

Level 50 albs and hibs like to come there and kill grey peeps.
And I don't know why, don't even know what the is fun is for them.
Maerin dies in one or two hits.

One of my rules in this game is, I want to have fun, and I like it when others have fun too. I never kill grey ones, unless by accident.

And as I started to write here, I wanted to take the oppurtunity to thank Coren. He helped maerin and a healer I was grouped with to kill some mobs at uc. Much appreciates that.

I know my friend and that is my problem, I love it there, to me no place else is so beautiful. I think that is also the reason I like to play the low levels.

The frontiers of albs and hibs isn't so nice as our yggdra.

It would be so nice if they stop killing grey ones.

Usually its done for one of two reasons

1. Low level death spam usually brings a higher level response, therefore more chance of getting RPs

2. Because some people just cant kill anything else without T3H Z3RG (TM)!!!!!!!!1

However, Yggdra should be a little safer these days due to a more or less constant presence of Middies at the MGs in Odins. Unfortunately this can never be 24/7 so Yggdra gankers will always be a hazard.

same here cerbie.. used to love yggdra and uppland myself for xp`n.. UC and Snowcrabs were some of the best places to xp to 30 in a group and can be excellent xp solo in the mid 30`s.. but now its become a deserted place.. i still hunt there with some of my chars although i wont say where as these spots are normally alb/hibs. ie they dont know where

and before people start flaming cerbie.. says if you dont blah blah blah blah dont go there...

she is without a doubt one of the nicest healers ive known in midgard.

hmmm so far no sad albs with gimped chars that cant kill shit (except the greycons) replied "l00ks like someone got pwned!111" type of messages yet... I'll give it a few more hours...

sometimes I camp yggdra to, but don't kill greys, instead I mess around with them (sticking, clapping every kill etc, killing a level 50 in front of his nose, and when he attacks me stabbing him with snare and run away) hoping they will message more of their level 50 friends to come

really theres no reason for me to kill greys, if I can kill 1 grey every 2 minutes then thats 900 rps in 30 hours, if I go to emain I have 900 rps in 1-5 minutes...

well the same thing can be said about the mids was xp'ing outside sauvage when high lvl mids come and kill me...s'pose same about hibbies they get killed in gorge...all u gotta do is find somewhere outta site works for me

I visited Yggdra a few times but never managed to bring myself to kill greys, always ended up stunning mobs & things for them but I can understand the mentality of some people who think they are good by one shotting someone 20 levels their junior.

It is a frointer and the extra campbonus is given because of the element of danger being invaders. Thus I dont really see the problem with camping Yggdra or any other bk frointer area.

On another note, albs dont seem to xp in there frointers as much as hibs and mids. That and that I totally dread the alb frointer makes atleast me stay away from sauvage. It's pretty though I must admit.

Today I met a sweet firbolg, called Cuthivoc, he didn"t killed kleine and I took Cerbie to say thanks to him.

So sad we couldn't talk. But it was great fun me running into yggdra together with a firbolg and hunting bone eaters.

most evil thing i did was stunning a firbolg who fighting a mahr in DF solo. He didn't win . ah well he was 50 anyway. if he deleted his char and come play albion ill give him 17 gold 67 silver back

first thing u have to understand, grey doesn't mean grey. they might be purp+++ to um but to them you cud be blue or green.

in a perfect world, i don't kill greys. but it's not always as easy as that.

'greys' in my own frontiers r good as dead, not gonna let them kill my greys.

'greys' in enemy frontiers. i'd like to avoid them, rps is nothing and nothing to gain. if u want a reaction - wave and dance with them - let them 'report' u to others.

but sometimes u 'bump' into a grey and it's a reactive response to hit them - then u realise "oh crap" i've just killed a grey. that's what i think, don't mean to.....but u r on edge when solo non-stealther....just hit whatever comes at u.

personally i don't like hitting 'greys', but with things going on, u don't always pay attention to their 'con'.

Yeah and the lowest mobs are 20+ levels over the once's in yggdra.

Everywhere you go you ahve the same problem, some ppl seem to get an ego boost killing greys, I never did, but after my ranger getting ganked continuously for days while trying to complete a quest in the hib frontier by purps, I kind got the cant beat em join em approach, so now kill greys with my main whenever I see them, many ppl disagree with this, but many of them have high level alts the kill greys and bitch when there low lvl alts get ganked, to finallise, if you dont like it, dont exp in frontiers, kinda harsh but thats the way it is

i used to xp in yggdra all the time with my alts, i dont dare go out further than the first few mobs now because you get ganked so easily......

...what i really loved about yggdra was the fact that in a group of 8 hunting at UC there was a promise of good xp, cash and probably a chase with a red con scout come to kill some blues.

its not all bad though, ive seen scouts come dance with me when i been xp'ing and we just had abit of a laugh really, even some hibbie zergs let me run back to vindsaul to call for help.

basicly you dont need to kill greys to attract attention, just wave and cheer at them
