i recently made a MP set of silksteel pants and put them on my cm for 2p which i thought was a fare price i look on me today and find the same pants for sale at 5p. to me this just shows greed and robs someone who could have used the pants and benevited the realm of albion. what do you guys think?

Why don't you 'Help Albion!' and sell yours for 600g (Costs me 2p or less to make a whole MP set)

it's disgusting when ppl buy up "cheap" items on the market just to put them on their own CM for a much higher price.
would be better if the person who crafted/farmed the stuff put the stuff out slightly higher priced then so the person that deserves it get's the profit imo.

Never had Mad Tales 3 for sale on my cm only mad 3/3 i ever had i used so who are you talking about and do we care ? I do help albion by crafting and making weapons cheap go check my cm if those are high price let me know or Jordies for that matter . Wannabe roleplayers or just nice ppl do you care ? fell for it myself not so long ago, 4g..4g..4g..4g..4g..4p..4g.. wtf where did my plat go? houseowner is some unguilded lvl 20 etc.. sad really.

and if the legs cost him 600g to make, and hes selling them for 2 plat, 1.4p for like 2 hours work is greedy? not fair to abuse jord for that considering taht 2 plat is really nothing these days..

It's pretty obvious that all of you guys trying to flame Jordie you havent got any idea of crafting and you havent got the slightest idea what kind of a person Jordie is.

I know him very well and he's one of the most honest ppl I've met on this server, so posts like that will not affect his reputation at least among the ppl who know him. :worthy:

Regarding the crafting and pricing issue, I've got all kind of LGM's except fletcher and I've done my share of crafting as well, got a bunch of ppl wearing mp sets of all sorts from me.

Crafting takes TIME and GOLD so hell I'll sell my items for nothing just to help, so instead of flamming crafters maybe you should try flamming those who go farming in DV the regarding shades 3 of 3 and then they sell it on CMs for more than 10 p. I've farmed it myself (for me when I needed it not to sell it) and it took me less than an hour. Have you ever counted the hours you need to make a full mp plate set (not to mention the nervous breakdown when you do more than 100 retries to get the damn mp). So posts like these sound rediculous to experienced crafters at least.

By the way, instead of helping Albion I've decided to help my nerves and I rarely accept orders any more but from friends, apart from SC.

Common Sense

Pricing items on a cm is only common sense. All it needs is a look at the Market Explorer, then you pitch your items as little as 1g below the cheapest if you want to sell 'em. Too high - nobody buys (usually players who do this are showing off, since a zero priced item can't be bought). Too low and it will be snapped up and even re-sold at nearer the going rate. You can't whine about this - it's a fact of commercial life. Guild cms are a different matter, since they are they there for their guild. Personal cms are for personal profit, not to assist poorer players. Even so, on many occasions I have undersold items when the buyer has approached me and asked for a price reduction. It pays in the long run to be flexible.
