Great rvr

I dont know about u guys, but i am having tons of fun in rvr ( now on my old chanter Karlkowa, which i am right now cleaning for old pve dust ( will be fully ready in 1-2 weeks ))

Nice to see so many albs and Mids out there, now we have a - Beno situation - at DC ( where all 3 realms can port /direct rvr action) will be fun to see if we hae a - Beno situation at Bleed soon too )

Well what do u guys think? last couple of weeks been good or bad ?

Yes it has been good - but it is important to not let it get stale again. Keep the battle moving imo and it will always be fresh, a changing battlefield is an exciting one. Once predictability creeps in it begins to suck.

Our best fight was when our set of randoms hit a well opted mid group + (I think) outside Crim on the coastline. How they knew we were there I will never know because we were well below the horizon. Anyway. There were three of them left when we all died (I was the BB druid with the flaming sword that was chopped up at the end). Pandora rolled over them and eoy'ed us up (ta folks). We rezzed up and most logged after that. It was a great fight even though we lost.

A point worth makign is that at times people in our BG got suspicious that people were spying/usuing radar but in the end I think it is best put down to the sheer numbers of groups out there. There was groups all over Hibernia and actually I did not really see the same group twice which was nice....

If you were the 1 fg+ of hibs running along the coast at 10.30 GMT. Then it was SC fg. The reason you were spotted was simple. We had run up the west side of Dun Crim (Some nice PVE by Krafiks getting us up their), trying to avoid the valley and were running east along the north coast.

There were alot of groups out last night so paths are going to cross.

BTW - I prefer the keeps we have at the moment, since the area is larger and less likely to have the choke points which plagued HW (Though the valley east of Dun Crim is popular).

It was alot of fun with some good 3 way battles ..

that was you guys - then - nice fight! We enjoyed it immensely even if you guys won. I agree you do bump into people a lot now what I was trying to say above is that it is important not to be suspicious. Which is what can happen especially when you are not used to such lively RvR. So gratz we enjoyed the fight.

hmm been pretty shit for me as a soloer as it's impossible to get fights without being nuked down in seconds or a fg running up to me and grappling mid fight or whatever. So gone back into PvE mode for a bit to kit out chars with new phat temps and what not.

I can see why it would be fun for fg's though.

EDIT: Just read you said last couple of weeks, well before the relic cap when mids had berk it was fun yeh but since we have moved to Emain it's been bad for me. I can only guess that is because there was next to no hibs out then bar the odd fg, so it was a bit easier to avoid the zerg.

Hi Bowie.
I must admit, i think the rvr now is awsome!! Ive had so much fun in the last 2 weeks that maybe having my long break playing WoW has made it seem alot better also.
Id like to see you playing your old ranger more though tbh! :touch: He was a tough cookie and we had some nice fights!

Had a lot of fun roleplaying back our keeps today, actually wish we hadn't, but at least it was fun doing it! So, please come again
