Ladies and Gentlemen of Midgard,
Nemesis one of Midgards oldest guilds is proud to bring you the first ever Great gna Festival, to be held this coming sunday 17th of November in gna Festa. starting at approximately Midday gmt and running throughout the day. Listed below are some of the events that have already been finalised for your entertainment.
Fling a rock stall at Askheim:
Test your aim with a Trebuchet at the encampment of Askheim, 5 gold pieces per throw. Watch in wonder as the firey payload sails through the air, destroying all that it touches as it lands on your chosen target.. that is if you have you aim right
The Great Midgard Treasure Hunt:
Follow the clues find the treasures, journey across the realm, first team home wins the prize. There will be 3 catagories of hunt held at throughout the day for varying level characters. Obviously the higher your level the more difficult the clues and tasks. Level ranges are 1-15, 16-35, 36- 50. All wishing to take part please register your name with the event organisers before 14:00gmt/15:00cet. Teams to consist of no more than 4 people. Entry fees as follow: level range 1-15 2g/person, 16-35 6g/person, 36-50 15g/person. please respect the spirit of the hunt and when you solve a clue and find the treasure, which will be held by a event organisor and resemble an weapon crafted by someone within Nemesis, do not shout it over /as or /gu it will ruin it for those playing the game. Organisors Are Mrburns, Durgi and Slaktarfar.
The First ever Mr and Miss Midgard competition.
Ladies and Gentlemen step forward to be crowned the first ever Mr and Miss Midgard. To apply for entry please send an IN CHARACTER email to durgidaoc@yahoo.co.uk, stating why you would make a great Mr or Miss Midgard. All mails will be treated confedientually, between the Nemesis Guildmasters. The 12 lucky men and women chosen for the finals to be held at Festival will be contacted no later than Friday 15th November. And their Names listed below. A Selection of judges of all races and sexes will be chosen to judge the finals. We catagories like best dressed, Talat contest test your singing voice or some poetic verse, A dance routine perhaps. Entrance Fee for the finalist will be 50g per person. A small price to be pay for the fame of being crowd the First Ever Mr and Miss Midgard.
The Gna Swimathon:
time to see if anyone truely has bought Mastery of Water. Search the depths of Gna lake for the sneak Kobold hidden beneath its rippling service. NO speed buffs allowed. Find the Kobold win a prize. Entry Fee 2g per person.
The Great Auction:
Items for every level.. some crafted some rare all up for sale to the highest bider. To weat the appitite of some of you rich people out there a small list of what is already in stock for the auction. A set of Cloaks from the Mighty Glacial Giant, Items of power from the Wretches of Winter in Raumarik, The bounty from the dread Princes of Darkness Falls. As well as many items from malmohus, spindelhalla, Varulv, to suit people of all types and level ranges. Auction will begin approximately around 18:00gmt/19:00cet.
As well as the fun of the Fair so to speak, the realms greatest crafters will be on hand all day, plying their trades at rock bottom prices. ever wanted a truely marvellous Bow for all those espiring hunter. Blood the Legendary Hunter and Fletcher shal be on hand to craft you a bow far beyond the likes you can buy from a merchant of even those you may find in the fearful dungeons. Likewise Diesndal and Kryin the greatest armour crafters in the land will be around outfit even the mightiest of warriors in armour unsurpassed. All at bargain basement prices.
All proceeds from the events will go to the Nemesis Realm Fund. That will be used for the defence and repair of our realm. Also we shall be accepting petitions of Scholarship from young crafters to fund them on their journey to ranks of Legendary master of their chosen craft.
Further events willbe published as and when available, plus a time timeable of event should be available at this space by the end of the week.
