I think he's refering to the fact that any attacker can target an enemy door and spam AoE spells where as a defender has to use PBAoE which is now impossible as you cant get close to the door without getting a million flaming spears on your head.

Yes it does suck really bad, its quite a swing in favour of the attacker. :puke:

Before the patch I`d like to recall it was tough to attack hib keeps. I`m a n00b, but I do think that RMs still could interupt you spells using sup ae on the gatekeeper. Only difference now is that you`ll get hurt as well.

Well it wasnt quite supposed to be that way was it to begin with :).
They should have fixed it before releasing the game so noone would miss it.

pbaoe is no exploit, its working like it should

on the other hand, i think targetting the keep doors for aoe is kinda silly

yes yes we hibs can do it aswell but i still think its silly, it gives a great advantage now for the attacker rendering pbaoe'rs practically useless

you cant even singletarget nuke doors, why should you be able to aoe it, i dont know, mb mythic had a reason for this

I heard 3hibs used this at 3diffirent angles to a keep, wiped & cleaned up pretty good

The million dollar question is...has the wall-bug exploit been fixed in the patch? As it appears a predominantly hib trait (coughs) any of you Hibbies out there like to give us some input? ;)

Thanks for the tip Eblessair I won't bother running up to the doors and PB AoE Mezing or Smiting any more I'll just use my ranged AoE Smite on the the door then :)

My AoE smite does way more than my PB one as well :)

that mjollnier on the doors was the first time i did not go ballistic on a thane casting a spell (mezbreakers royal, they are).

and wallbug still exists. and yes, i ll come and take a nice screeny, won t i, godofredo^^.

As a Hibbie archer who has never even seen the inside of the wall but who has been killed several times by Embedded Albs, I would like to say pthpthhpthp. :p

As Mentalist I dont mind, suppose we can both aenuke and aedot doors now? Can you target doors with aeroot/debuff as well? If so, both druids, ments and voidelds get more useful in keep defence, shouldnt hurt hibernia much.

Luckily it still works in the Lord Room, so they might get thru the doors, but when the get up there it is instant death for everyone :)

For everyone's info, the wall 'bug' will always be there until Mythic decides to implement some sort of collision detection (frankly don't know why they never made that because it's essential in games with lag). So it ain't really a bug but a flaw that was forgotten to be made (or wasn't necessary in there eyes..)

(correct me if i'm wrong)

the problem with it is that the defenders cant use it, cos the door "is a member of your realm"

i wouldnt really have a prob with this if this was available for offence AND defence, but it isnt, rendering hibs most useful spell useless in keep defences

you dont have to target any thing for pbaoe and ever thourt of not shoving your staff through the door so they have it to target? i have a lvl 20+ eld and its full mana spec so i know you dont have to target the door or nothing for it because ive revealed stealthers with it... damm they must hate that :clap: 150+ on a stealther and they soon run :D
