What graphics settings have you set to make gameplay smoother outside of DAOC? I can run all on high, but it stutters quite a bit at times, is there any settings of which i do not know about?

Personally I :

Cut down the colour map to 16 bit (don't notice a difference really - I think the human eye can distinguish 22 bit colour in certain colour ranges, so 32bit is overkill).
Exclude the Camelot directory from the Anti-Virus real time scan (and make sure you run a weekly scan to compensate).
Run a regular defrag (I use Diskeeper, which defrags whenever my screensaver is on).
Tweak the advanced graphics settings to put performance above quality (play around and see what you can live with).
