Graphics Problems on Voodoo 5500

Is there anyone successfully running DAoC on a Voodoo 5500 AGP card under Windows 2000? I've tried the Omega drivers that have been recommended in the RightNow support pages, but they make DAoC unplayable (I end up with lines across the screen). My only problem before the 1.49 patch was that I could not see the compass, but with 1.49 I now have graphics corruption on the tabs of the chat window (so I can't see any of the tabs) and at the bottom as well (so I can't see what I am typing).
If you do not see these problems with this card, could you let me know what drivers you are using for it, and what settings needed to be changed (if any).

Thanks.

you have to disable one of the GPU's, you see the V5500 has two chips and in the options you are able just to use one, try that...i had problems like that with other games.

Hm...I got the same problem. Can you tell me where to turn the second gfx chip off, since I don't find the option in the config menu.

One of the first things I did was to try disabling one of the gfx chips in the options - it made no difference to this problem.
I had some luck with the 1.50 patch though. I can now see what I'm typing, although the tabs at the top of that window are still corrupted.
For now I'm going to live with it as it is, I never used those tabs anyway.

when you get to the char selection screen, go into the options menu then into the graphics one. Choose vodoo graphics (or something similar) instead of standard 3D

Tried both the software and Voodoo graphics options - made no difference.
What's funny though, is that the DAoC makers don't give tech support on anything to do with the Voodoo cards, yet the game has the option.

Because the support is probably Beta support and developers never support anything like that
