I have a Geforce 4 MX220 that I want to install can anybody tell me how to install it without any conflicts, i've tried, but I keep getting Hardware conflicts. It seems the inbuilt card is caseing the problems

Disable your onboard video? Either done with a jumper on the board itself or in your BIOS. Probably more likely you'll have to do it in the BIOS.. check your mobo manual.

Can you expand on what you mean by "hardware conflicts".

I assume you can boot using the AGP card with the monitor connected to it, and enter the BIOS ?

I have the same mobo and the "primary" video selection is under PCI Configuration, make sure that is set to "AGP Card" and not "Onboard".

Do you mean you are getting a hardware conflict under Windows ? If so try updating the chipset drivers or even removing the onboard graphics device from the Device Manager.

yep, you need to disable the onboard, it will be using the AGP resources which an AGP AIB will also require.

Were you thinking of using the second card for multi-monitor? If so you'll need a PCI card (though the MX420 may well have a DVI port you can use as VGA with the right dongle- depending on the make and model)
