I have disabled the other card in Bios by going into PCI config and changing the Card status

It's overheating : a problem I'm having with my creative TI4200. People go to all lengths to stick ramsinks on, and all copper heatsinks (i did) : and its not even them overheating : theres a small power thingy (looks like a capacitor with copper wire wrapped round it a few times) : they get unbelievably hot.
Until Creative replace my card, I've underclocked it.

I've had a few hundred chats with creative's technical bods and a few answers you may want to try first :

Disable ACPI. This has the affect that you wont be able to turn off your PC automatically (i.e. have to press the power button to turn off) :
www.mooo.eu.org/acpi

Ive no idea how to do that in Me, or even if you need to do it.
Running Me is probably a problem in itself. Basically the idea behind that is so you can tell Windows what IRQ you want hardware to run on. If you look at your system information (usually start> programs > accessories > system > system tools you can look up the IRQ address list and see what hardware is sharing what IRQ's. This is usually only a problem with XP/2k/2k3 systems though.

Obviously update the nForce drivers to latest version (2.03).

Disable any hardware you dont use in the bios (Com ports, parallel port if you dont use it, onboard sound etc).

Also, since this shite messageboard software wont let me paste the direct link (it replaces half the fuggin message with smileys) : here is something Creative posted :

Our Advice
Display problems with the GeForce may be caused by a number of reasons. Try the following suggestions to overcome them:

Check your motherboard manufacturer's site (or check out http://www.wimsbios.com) for motherboard updates.

These updates will include some or all of the following: AGP updates, PCI Bridge, PCI IRQ Steering, IDE Bus Mastering, and BIOS updates.

You should obtain all relevant updates for your PC.

If you are using a VIA chipset or ALI chipset visit http://www.viatech.com/ or http://www.aliusa.com/ and consult their Windows 98 Troubleshooting FAQ.

If you are running Windows 95 install the latest USB supplement onto your PC as this contains some fixes for AGP.

Update the Chipset drivers. The following are the links to driver download pages of major chipset manufactures: VIA/ETEQ, AMD, Intel, SIS. Ali

Try setting the following options in the BIOS of your PC. Note some of these options may not be present - refer to the manual and motherboard manufacturer for more information:

Video Bios Shadow - disable
Video Bios Cacheable - disable
System Bios Cacheable - disable
C8000 – xxxxx Shadow - disable these values
Assign IRQ To VGA - This MUST be enabled
VGA Palette Snoop - This MUST be disabled
Enable ESCD - disable
Power Management - disable
DPMS - disable
Virus Checking - disable
PnP Aware OS - disable
Turbo External Clock - disable
Cache Read + CPU with pipeline - disable
AGP Aperture Set to half of system memory
Fastwrites - disable

Hope that helps some, if you are sharing IRQ's post again and I can go into further depth on a seperate post
