I'm a grandmaster weaponsmith now, meaning that I can work arcanium. I am currently at Broadswords/stilettos but will soon (propably tonight) reach arcanium main gauches, which should make thrust dual wielders happy as there are no better off-hand weapons to make. The max dps I can offer by then is 15.7, which includes pole-arms and two-handed weapons of course.

Feel free to abuse my service, but be warned: I am currently a mere toy in the hands of a cabalist, and when I am /anon or /afk, I am not available for crafting.

in Midgard I would need a skill of 975+ and won't even be able to make a two-handed in this patch :/

Is weaponcrafting so different in Midgard? That makes me happy as I was always envious of your higher skill, but as you seem to need it to make better stuff I now feel much more relaxed

And I will be able to make 15.7 weapons of almost all kind at 940 skill which I plan to reach tonight (only 3 points away), may not have come across that clearly. The best weapons in albion would be arcanium sabres/jambiyas/war maces etc. all at 16.5 dps and requiring exactly 1000 skillpoints to make them (1015 to be yellow).

In this patch (see short rant in general discussion) I will be able to make 16.2 dps weapons as soon as I am at 980 skill, having them yellow at 995. And that includes all types of weapons.

Poleaxe = 1000+ skill = 1.49 patch = somewhere in August.

I think I will set up shop in Ludlow at the patch day, have a constant minstrel-arcanium-shopping team and dish out arcanium special weapons.

Arcanium 2handed Weaps in Midgard would need 1015 Skill for the 15.9dps ones and 1035 for the 16.3/16.5dps ones.

Is WeapCrafting in Albion one of the 'easier' crafts, or the hardest one ?
(as in Midgard ... loads of deadpoints due to quite big gaps between the items)

Weaponcrafting separates the men from the boys so to speak. My first release char was a weaponcrafter and it's insanely hard to get it to increase.

Out of curiousity... what color is netherium/arcanium weapons?

Netherium looks like a Golden Alloy (if you got something like that in Albion) a brownish Gold.
Arcanium is a bright golden colour.

Weapons in Albion go at the following difficulties:

x15
x35
x55
x75
x95
x15 (for the special ones in that material)

You usually find weapons of all kind, from thrust to 2-hand to pole to crush to slash at each of the difficulty levels.

I usually skill as follows:

x1-25 dirk/hammer
x25-45 stiletto/mace
x45-65 main gauche/flanged mace
x65-85 rapier/spiked flanged mace
x85-xx15 shields

That's a gap you can live with, yet it still is by far the hardest craft I'd say. I have seen armorcrafters and fletchers skill past me rather fast, without me being lazy.
