GOTY maps cause crashes ?

Ive downloaded the new map pack, its actually pretty good im enjoying playing rtCW atm. However the new maps sometimes cause my RtCW to crash at the begining, have I just got a bad download or is it a known problem? Its the Dam map that does it most, and occasionally the Chateau one.

Its got something to do with your machine and not the GOty Maps since sometimes they work and sometimes they crash machine.

Its a scary Thing but you need to update - but dont update to the latest Direct X 9 cos its a bad ! very bad....DX 8 good , 9 very bad.
