Got password, but a wrong one

My friend has this problem too.

I have an account but its closed and i cannot reactivate it. However the new password ive been given is correct.
My friend has an account which is open, however the new password doesnt work.

Go figure.

yes, because it is the account of a friend who got the email and forwarded it to me but the pwd is incorrect
