How did you do yours? I bought the data cable as i didn't fancy transferring 50gig via USB.

Anyway the transfer process was very quick was up and running within 30mins from setup-recovering tag-transferring fro HDD.

i didnt have much to transfer so did by usb
i used to put all saved on a MU so just transfered that to a usb and all

Uninstalled all the games, then used a USB Drive. It took a few goes, but transfered in the end.

Got mine on Saturday. Trying to find a way to hack the crappy file system the Xbox puts on a USB stick so I can copy films directly onto the box itself.

Kept mine got one upstairs and downstairs now as we rent the odd film now and then and if Kinect turns out to be good we have a nice sized living room to play it.

I saw they are releasing a 4gb "arcade" version which is matte black rather than shiny i think i may wait for that as i don't download much anyway. And i hate the finger print magnet shiny black stuff.

that is the first time i've ever heard anyone say that they're waiting for a certain technology product because it's matte finish instead of gloss!

To be fair you won't even need to touch the xbox once its set up as you can switch it on via control pad and open the disc tray via the menu. Unless you like touching up your consoles you will be fine.
