All this stuff hits like a sledgehammer now I am a dad, 2 years ago this wouldn't of bothered me. Gotta feel for the parents but I imagine they will be able to sort him out with an operation.

I'm not sure how far this discussion wants to go. But, quite bizarrely, I think it actually looks rather 'normal'. By the crying when they're touched, it must though feel unnatural for the fella. No explanation of how it happens.

Wonder if he can feel/use all the arms? (obviously at such an early age, probably not consciously).

I dunno, the article says that neither arm is fully developed - the lower one is unstraightenable and the top one has no palm on the hand and only moves when someone else moves it. So I don't know what they can do but then I'm not a doctor...

You'd think if he has an extra arm there'd be some sort of other disfigurement as well, but there isn't really (apart from the one kidney thing, but I'm talking externally). Siamese twins weird me out slightly, but this doesn't seem that abnormal to me for some reason.

I imagine so Clown. The development of his arm seems to have gone wrong on a rather low level, so the body could and can do all kinds of strange stuff in response to the broken cellular signals to build things.

Take the lower arm off and graft the wrist/hand onto the upper one imo.
