Anyone else here even wanted full on blood/dismemberment in rvr?
Personally id love to see somone get there head cut off in rvr , or a luri wriggling on the end of my spear screaming with blood spurting out of there mouths.

Oneshot PA's = Heads go flying off, and your armor gets blood-red by the pumping blood of the severed throat ;d

People running off with bleed effects, leaving traces of blood etc ;d even stealthers bleeding. hehe

Would be cool stuff.

That bloodtrail would actually be great.. maybe you need to spend some RA's in it to find/better detect the trace.. but still, nice idea

i would vote no,
simple reason Daoc cant handle it,
there is enough lag as it is due to various reasons, adding more just will in crease this as it means more signals going back and forth from the server.

I would love to see it, but i dont see it being practical with GOA's current setup

just my 2 cents

I just wonder how would rez work then? you target bloodstains on wall ? Or do you need to pick up all parts of exploded corpse and then /use them to combine to one piece and rez up

I don't mind 12 year olds looking at blood in a mmorpg at all, but it wouldn't look anywhere near cool. They would have to use a few fixed positions to die in and a few ways blood was spillt and it would not look anywhere cool since the sword will not strike on the same place the blood is shed and if the head fall off it would only look stupid when you were hitting his torso. Blood and lost body parts can be cool in a video of a fixed scene. Would just look stupid in daoc, and cool doesn't come to my mind at all.

Its the useless network they run across known as open transit which is one of GOA's sister companies so they will never switch from it
