Whether it's a troll or not remains to be see however.

An alliance has been formed called Band of Brothers with the ticker MOLLE.

I suspect it's a troll alliance from the member corps and I wouldn't be at all surprised if a good chunk of the "stolen" money from goonswarm were to end up in that alliance's wallet along with corporation goonwaffe (which is allegedly the name of the corp that goonswarm's members are leaving to join)

I wouldn't believe what's said on shc/eve-o right now. Goons are taking this far too well for there not to be another twist in the tale.

Still, GoonSwarm as an entity is dead. Without any assets or ISK they pretty much need to start from scratch in their new corp GoonWaffe

It was also pretty awful how the entire card house folded completely after the sov-drop

well, as goose pointed out, if this is just another twist in the tale they will probably end up with most of the old alliance ISK anyway.

i really hope that wont happen, but they ARE taking it suspiciously well...


what i can guess happened is that they figured out that the space they lost would be to costly to try and regain with all the landgrabbing going on. so they come up with some "masterplan" to entertain the masses while they rebuild in a new alliance.

all those dread wrecks had me thinking tho but looking at it from that point of view it will probably be the smartest thing to do because they wont need to haul a ton of assets through potentially blobbed space.

they are probably losing shitloads of ISK doing that but IF we trust the few goons thats posting on SHC they would still have around 1T ISK after that.

and that would probably be enough to fund pretty much anything they want to do.

this might all be some really sneaky diversion from goons to pave the way for an easier push against an alliance currently down in their old space grabbing sov...

thats an insane enough thought to fit Goons imo...

They've been whipped to take it well, remember that the strategy was not to fail because of their enemies, but to fail by their own doing

They still have plenty stuff trapped in Delve / Querious stations and alot of assets blown up, but yeah, they'll be back eventually. I guess some will see it as a fresh start- and shed some fat

About what goons are up to? No idea

All of this is speculation BUT...

Goons, Zaf and PL are in Geminate.

NC + allies are bunkering down in PB/Venal/Tribute.

That gives a fairly solid northern powerbloc

On the other side.

-a-, atlas, IT alliance + friends are securing delve/querious and replacing assets

TRI, INIT, ROL are still working togehter roaming the north and generally proving darwins law on a regular basis

What does this mean?

any fight over 200 people = horrible lag. ccp are still testing. Recently taken space will need some work to be secured and for sov levels/upgrades to be purchased that prevent ninja attacks and sov loss.

I give it 4 maybe (at the very outside) 8 weeks and then it's gonna be...
