Google has just launched a Betasite for videostreaming ...

(site only works for FF and IE atm.. ) after installing their videoprogram you can stream clips and videosnippets directly from the net... just click and watch...

took me 3 minutes of searching and i got this...

wich is the entire Matrix revolutions...

enjoy the new google-emporeum:) (not alot of videos yet since it is a beta.. but still a good bit... found matrix clips, gamespot videos, simpsons / family guy clips +++

Na, Yahoo had a 'search the web for video files'

This is searching video thats stored on Google's own servers.

They are trying to index video in the same way they do other web content: so search results will find news reports from the participating US stations etc. Itll be interesting to see how this turns out, but with searches Ive tried so far almost all of the results that actually contain viewable video clips are poor quality 'homemade' stuff.

Letting folks upload videos seems like its begging to be abused ...
