right
i left ga for VHWN in order to get the recognition as a good player (which i think and other good players think i am), playing alongside 3 top 100 players, one of which used to be rank #2 so i jumped at the chance, leaving behind the "llamaness" that was GA. After a little while, i realised what i had done, i had left my good friends in ga just to get myself recognised, ga were without one of their better players and fucked as far as our league goes - and whats more, they are good friends - i couldnt leave all that behind and leaving them in the shit - so basically i returned to GA with the new frame of mind, with a new order of priority
i. Have Dam Fun
ii. Have Dam Fun alongside mates in GA
iii. Play with the aim to win - last priority - winning is a bonus, the first idea is to have fun - some people take the game too seriously, i think i was one, i have just had a game on bwdm with a few other lads, came last but - im drunk - and i had a good laff

i think durzel wrote a good peice about taking the game too seriously in his column - i think that helped turn my game around
i pride myself as being an extremely good railer, and if i cant use that skill for GA i would rather flop my wedding tackle in a lions mouth and flick his love spuds with a wet towel
do NOT leave friends in the shit just in order to get yourself higher - unless of course you have the full support
im just glad they let me back in GA

Same thing happeneed to 2 of our members at HsF. Both left and after a while came back to the fold for the same reasons.

I'm prob the clan's bottom of the run player. But I'm having fun and improving all the time (too laid back most of the time).
I've met up with half the clan who are scattered from Glasgow to London. Couldn't leave the friendship built up over the past year. And it's just going to get better once we all start hosting Curry nights!!
