Goodbye to Rhonvan

As some of you may know I have a main called Rhonvan.

My Lvl 50 Paladin. She was proud to be a Master of the Twohanded weapon. She was rediculed by many for maintaining her spec and not switching over to shield and slash, but she remained loyal to her twohanded weapons not complaining. But after reading the coming patch ideas she has resigned her fate to join the many nameless fighter who have given up the Twohanders for the more effective shield and slash.

If I had ANY choice at all I wouldnt respec, but they plan to take the one usefull chain we have in twohanded and make it Position based. This in itself shows that theyhave no plans to help Twohanded wielders gain the same Level of effectivenes their s/s brothers and sisters.

Shield users have: Shield styles, they are able to block, and at lvl 50 they have the 30/32 imbue points extra Imbue points in their shields


Twohanders: need to spec both in slash and Twohanded ( ALbion only), slower weapons, and we dont have have the 30/32 imbue points at lvl 50.


So next time you se Rhonvan she will be hidding her defeat behind a shield

Well... no idea why they do this "nerf" imo we(armsman and paladins) are the one that needs love...

The base of the albion army (ok, ok, not in this game but it should be), the only class that never got love, never shouted or complained like scouts, casters, SB's etc , gets nerfed :'( sad day when they push 1.65 on the european servers

I know how you feel.

I myself was once a 2h specced paladin. I respecced when we got the single line, hoping for a change for the better in 2h spec in a later patch so i could spec back again... looks pretty bad now...
Armsmen 2h styles are being nerfed too?
Makes you wonder what them guys doing all these changes are thinking.
Why are they changing them?

I used to be 2handed and was going to make a new pally because even tho i do like my s&s set up 2handed seemed more fun... maybe i wont now, bah.

hmz, with 2h thrust (and green/blue spec buffs) i do ~800 dmg with 2 styles on (sc'd) chain so its not bad at all, mayb should have tried thrust before respeccing totaly away from 2h.

anyway my 2 copper ;o
