Music is music and people like it. No matter if it's the new killdeathmegablast single or the tune of pacman.

I say go for it :D

To be honest, alot will depend on how well it is orchestrated and adapted for the performance.... with some careful work and good use of the orchestra I think some game themes could provem quite enjoyable.

*hums away to variations on the theme to Sonic the Hedgehog*

I love that tuba solo ! :p

The Halo stuff is good, but not a lot different from the actual orchestra & choir that did the original soundtrack ;)

Which btw is a very good CD too, if you like your orchestral music, like I do :)

Total Annihilation had a full orchestral soundtrack ... and did it rock. That game was far ahead of its time in many ways :)

Seconded, thirded and 'n'thed.
It's such a goddamn shame that playing it online hardly ever worked, though. Every time I've tried to get people to play it with me we've ended up screwing around for hours trying to get the thing to work before giving up. Sigh.
