Good fun Hib chars to play?

Well, i'm thinking of starting on hibernia, and i was thinking of making a bard, but i'm interested to hear the opinions of you guys as to what classes are fun, despite arguement that all classes are equal, some seem to be avoid-at-all-costs. Anyone suggest any particular class, or give me a litle information about them, the catacombs are good, but hearing it from the hib's mouth is better

Bards are pretty gimped and need some loving big style, BUT! they're still a VERY important part of a group, they're the only real CC class in Hib and the only mach 5 class in Hib, also the only end regen. If you role a bard expect groups to snap you up right away but in combat expect to have to run in a thousand circles with a ton of tanks following you as you will be first target. I don't have a high level bard but I imagine it's a very tough class to play, whilst at the same time VERY, VERY, rewarding alongside not having to piss about for hours waiting for a group as one.

An essential class for Hib, boring in PvE, key in RvR however need a little tweaking. Hard class to play well in RvR but if you are good at it and supported by a good team very rewarding.

They are public enemy number one for Mids / Albs so expect to get tons of aggro and probably die first. They need a little love to bring their once unique abilitys back on par with those that were given to Mid and Alb to "balance" the realms.

Probably never have too much trouble finding a group.

good fun to play? well i only have my own experiance, if u want fun, stay away from shades!

They really are great fun in rvr, but in pve the lack of groupage will make u want to quit the game.

it will keep u up at night crying, and will also make u pull all your hair out.

but its cool for rvr

Bards PvE boring as hell. RvR very hard to play well and need a good group to keep u alive cuz if u get into mellee u are screwed.

If that is your idea of fun, play a bard, aleast your get to 50th quickly, faster than tanks but not a fast as manachanters.

if u want fun for pve (is there such a thing?) go mana specced mages or even animist..

fun rvr would be Bard (really hard class to play, have such a big role in hib rvr thay you have to be at your best all the time).

Manachanter/mana eld (if ur in a good grp).

Champion ( prolly the most fun tank in the game.. Valor really makes a big difference)
Nightshade, the best mage/healer-coverer there is and pa/cd is my favourite "fun" combo of the game

What about a warden? Diverse enough so that you don't turn into a one key wonder - and never a big problem getting a group. never met anybody who has been unhappy with one.

If you are after owning, überwichserei etc go for smthg else.
