Good dye combinations?

Hi!

I have no colour co-ordination whatsoever and end up making my char look like a child's colouring book. Any tips on colour combinations that look smart? My skald (Melodia) is all purple at the moment and could do with a bit of tarting up!

Crimson and Black is the official Templar Color. That would even make an ugly troll look good I guess.

crimson and black looks like doodoo on studded tough

my votes go to black - dark blue , black - rust

especially for chain id say : some 30g red + uncolored chain (kephan colors )

Have to say I like rust + black , got that combo on my 40 Ranger , looks well cool and not many people use that colour combo , otherwise black + royal blue or black + crimson .

You can see how dye colours look at www.allakhazam.com so you don't have to spend so much money experimenting with dyes.

Amusingly it looks like the person that took most of the screenshots at allakhazam didn't bother to put his torch on so you can't see the colours on his female minstrel (by default I assume all female avatars to be male in real life). It's like watching a fashion show with 20 watt light bulbs.

I always try and do this

Stick an emblem on your cloak and/or shield

Take a colour from your emblem and stick it on your vest

Rest black

Looks very nice indeed

Black and Dark Blue, not changed em in ages and still like em

darkblue and black is great
darkred and black is nice but all seam to have it
Green and darkgrey is lovely and the standart colours for the moss faerie Gromnir (tho he is taking a break from beeing the moss faerie for now)
Purple and black is a no go looks nice but its just not that moden any more
No got out and get a nice Orange and a nice Black ans you'd look realy great.
