Golden Spear encounter

Anyone up for doing this?

The few times I have tried it we have been wiped or it was bugged so someone who has been in a successful encounter would be cool.

If enough interest we can give it a go on Wednesday night at 19:00gmt

Drops will all be lotto'd

I'll take SB and BB

Our guild has tried this a few times and encounter seems to be bugged everytime, maybe a problem with the current patch? Last mob disapears everytime with the spear :/

If the last mob is vanishing, your taking too long.

You literally need a zerg in mid to kill it fast so it doesnt run off.

2-3 groups with lots of melee should be enough. Savages/Zerks are a favorite for this encounter due to duelwielding.

Only time ive done it successfully in mid was with 2fg with loads of melee. Even then it was damn lucky.

In alb/hib its easy due to pet spam

me needs this.. if we rolling for it ill bring hunter and a healer for backup possibly. have a warrior to but want the arti on hunter

Anything that drops will be lotto'd, only 1 roll per person so no rolling with bots as well xD

Danish Huscarls did this last night, we where around 10 people, no high damage dealers, FoP and FoHealing (not sure this was up at that time tho)

We used around 1½ hours bashing last mob, was a pure pain in the a**, but doable

How funny.. I tried being ona raid where we took approx 15-20 mins for the first 2 mobs then after 3 mins on the third the encounter reset aka mob vanished.. how nice and buggy
