Sorry if this thread is kinda out of topic and doesn't belong here.. :)

But my question is about Golden Alloy Great Sword which drops in Malmohus. I have been searching that weapon last weeks and haven't seen a single drop yet. So far I have got 5-10 different GA weapons but not that 2-handed sword...

So does anyone have any idea where it drops? I have been killing drakulvs at H-stones, at lake, at lair and at Yar place... Or is that sword so damn rare then? I made my last 50 bubs in Malmo anyway and haven't seen it dropping :)

Seen it drop from Execs at lair, actually it was an add from East of lair. I'll help you look for one if you drop me a GA hammer too... :)

You a chance of finding it anywhere, but there are areas where the chance of getting it appear to be a lot higher --

I've seen all of this drop, except the GA Bow.


H-Stones:

GA Bastard Sword (1hd sword)

Dragon Etched Bracer (+2 Parry, +2 bow)

At the lair:

Thanks for your help guys :)

Seems that I have start to camp attendants at lake then. Btw there have dropped also:

GA bastard sword
GA axe
ancient ring (flame wrought or something)

And now hoping I can add GA great sword to that my tiny list ;)

Thanks for Quemine and Max for their will to help me, just msg me ingame and do some ITAMZ HUNT :p since the attendants are only orange, it shouldn't be that hard to kill em even with smaller group.

Try the attendats north of the H stones - there's 4-5 named attendants there too. You'll have a lot more luck than camping the ones near the lake :)

I dont think the Runic Manslayer is very good,i borrowed one from Lokii,but it makes less damage than my Blessed Northern great sword (lvl 40 epic) :rolleyes:

got my GA Greatsword from Lair. no idea what mob dropped it tho... there was millions of execs and deciples everywhere

hmmm. that is interesting. also noticed on that page the Infernal Soul Blade. anyone got any info on this blade. had a look on warcry and alakazam but couldnt find it. dmg wise it seems to have the other swords over a barrel, just want more info.......

In relation to this, anyone got hammers? level 50 ones? 2H ones to boot?

I want Great Ice Breaker
2H GA hammer (if it exists)

or anything else.

where did you get yours and of what mobs and how hard was it to aquire?

Exe's in the lair drop Soul Forges, we got some guy with a death wish to pull from there on Excal, and low and behold one dropped and I got given it :D

The best method of pulling from the lair seems to be passing very close to the outer wall then running like a bastard.

we got 2 of these today

1 at execs right next to yar spawn, (the 2 execs standing to the east of yar's guards)

and another one moving NW W from lair

but we had 4 sword users with us

Hope it's your birthday soon cause I got a present for you Finrod. I've had my eye on a named drakulv all day, Hreinollf or something. Died the first time getting back from pulling him, but the second time I managed to get him to lair without any adds. Fought him quite well down to 50% and got a couple heals from the group there, they helped me finish him off (a bit too quick maybe since they got the loot, still had both insta heals left and a stun).

They were very kind and handed me the drop, which was a Golden Alloy Great Sword. Many /bows to you... Hope the sword will serve Midgard well in the battle against Albion and Hibernia.

Next time you see me around Finrod, give me a shout and the sword is yours...

HeH I was in the group that gave u a hand Que, I have to say someone in our group was not best pleased when the sword was given away, hope you enjoy it Finrod bash a few alb/hibs for me :)

Must be one of the happiest surprises in my life... First 12 hours in work and when I come home my guild mates tell me that Quemine has 2h GA sword for me :p

Well, seems that dreams COME true :D I have been searching for that sword for 3-4 weeks now (hunted almost every day too ;) and Quemine, my angel, saves me ;)

Many, many, many thanks to you Que =) I'm looking forward to see u online ;)

And soz those m8s who saw that sword dropping and didn't get it.. but I think Quemine knew that i have been looking for it more than anyone else in Midgard ;)

I´ve got a GA hammer for trade, if some healer/shammy type has any nice GA sword or any nice tank armour, contact me in some way.

Btw, the gloves with +4 parry (and some more stats) that drops in Malmö somewhere, what´s their name?

Seriously mate.. you should take some time out of DAoC ;)

I will drag you back to Malmo even if you had that sword because I want it too :D
And Quemine can come to point out the named that drops it!
(thats what you get for being so nice in public :p )
