There's some climbing things in the trees which is pretty cool and a zip line. Mountain biking is good too. You can't forget the crazy golf though.

Make Elven armour, then you can say to your friends; 'It was made by the elves, you know?'

even though you're not a elf, you can lie.

Depends what she likes really, zip lining or mountain biking might be her turn-on of the century, but it's not very romantic for an anniversary.

Whatever you think; it's her day, so make her happy by doing stupid sh*t she likes :p

From what other people have said about it, you need to pre book the activities you want to do, if you try to go and just do it on the day, its usually full

I work in the longleat one part time. I would recommend taking her to the spa for a session, they've put a lot of effort into making good quality spa's. spoil her a little bit as it's your anniversary etc

We've been twice now, once to Longleat and once to Elveden....and had a blast. i would HIGHLY recommend the High Roping and tree walking....if you have a head for heights that is! The swimming is a must, of course, and biking is always fun. We had a lot of fun playing badminton at the Elveden one and also thoroughly enjoyed the Quad Bike Safari (2.5 hrs of zooming through woodland !) and the laser tag in the forest. The spas are also very good and very relaxing in both locations.....though my best advice is to book asap for EVERYTHING!

Yeah - everything gets booked up within a few hours of arrival. Personally I was disappointed - the food was extremely average in the restaurants we tried and it wasnt a place for people who get bored being stuck in the same camp for days like myself. The pools pretty good though.

We're going to Elveden in a couple of weeks. 2 days just me and the missus, and then gran is bringing our 3 year old for the last couple of days.

We're not planning on leaving our villa for anything other than food and a swim for the first couple of days, then we'll do stuff to keep the little one amused.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on.

Update: :)

We arrived at 4:00p.m. Settled into our Hotel Room :) Booked some activities for Tomorrow :)

Weathers not too great... Constantly raining so we pretty much spent a few house looking around and had dinner in Bucks. Food was OK but not brilliant.

Archery 9-10 a.m.
Laser Combat 11-12:15
Golf 2-3:00
New Years Eve Party 8:00 onwards and then Fire Works over the lake.

Was extremely hard to book anything else as the majority of activities were already booked by others.
The above was the only available things we wanted to do :)

Update:

We got up so early this morning so we didnt miss the archery session :) that was fun and for my first archery lesson i made 55 out of 90 :) very good imo for beginner hehe even though we had protective gear on the arm it still didnt stop the bow string pinging my arm :) have a few scratches there now and maybe a bruise later :) archery was fun :)

Laser combat that was fun too :) my red team was shit :p we got shot to bits pretty fast :) damn those vet players! We had 2 games first where red team v blue team and blue team won both :) the next 2 games was defend the v i p which we finally won at :) but got shot to bits when blue team defended :) overall was fun.

We got silly golf next and then new years end of day party with fireworks over the lake which would be quite cool to finish the day off :)
