Meh, I have a BC ps3, and both games get upscaled already. Not worth me giving Sony more cash for nothing.

If they don't re-texture the game then it will be a damn shame. 480p textures look fucking awful stretched to 720p or 1080p

I played GoW2 on my PS3. Might get this though when it's cheap for another run-thru in hi-res with trophies.

gow2 yank edition had a high rez mode long as you used component, it looked fucking lush tho slowed in places. the pal release didnt have this, ive tried using a pal copy upscaled on my ps3. dosent look as good

PAL version did play at 576p on PS3 though, imo it was absolutely amazing.

Apparently they're adding anti aliasing... will be interesting to see how it turns out and if they can run it without frame drops.

Those 256x256 and 512x512 textures will look horrific at 1080p though

Yeah native 720p but using the orginal textures which were designed for 480p and if you use them on a 1080p screen they will be stretched far beyond acceptable quality. It will be a fucking shame if they don't retexture these 2 brilliant games.
