GOA-quest walk-through
It all starts with the finding of the following tablet :

1st Step :
To start, you need what all treasure-hunters need : a spade
These can be bought at some merchants in Oceanus Hesperos Haven named Onenn and Garuk.
There are 2 kinds , the old rusted one and the brand new one.
Just buy one, it doesn’t matter which.
2nd Step :
On Mesothalassa there are 5 columns, but only 3 are NOT broken.
/Use your newly bought spade at the center of the 3 complete columns (about loc 33/33).
This will get you an old star-shaped medallion representing the cardinal points.
3rd Step :
You need to find the origin of the medallion now.
After roaming to Atlantis you find a sobekite called Kompos on an island near Volcanus.
Kompos spawns only at night (around loc 11/12).
Speak to him about the medallion, as he got the same one as one of his trophees.
4th Step :
You found out that the medallion was the symbol of an ancient order : the Ainigmat & Aporreton Order. Your journey leads to find the remains of that order.
This will lead you to the biggest island of Oceanus Boreal, an island full of rocks.
At night, some ghosts spawn there (loc 35/54). Talk to the elder one.
5th Step :
Craft a Woolen Doll (Basic crafting skill or cloth-working).
After that go back to Kompos and get a scale of him (right-click).
Now you got the ingredients, so take them to the ghosts.
6th Step :
The Elder Ghost will put some kind of curse on the doll using the scale, after that return to Kompos and bury it near him by /use of the spade again.
7th Step :
Warn the ghosts that you buried the doll as they have asked for.
Now they’ll send you to Oceanus Notos to collect some items of a past researcher of the order.
Go to the WH-Island at Oceanus Notos (loc 33/10) there is a small building there (more like a platform).
Go upon it and look in a hole next to a fallen column.
You should find a key and a scroll then.
8th Step :
The scroll is a letter from the past researcher. He found the treasure’s location, but is afraid to fail, so he left some clues.
You need to go to Oceanus Hesperos and sail to the Island in the NE.
There will be a chest there (loc 59/19).
Use the key to open it and to retrieve another scroll.
9th Step :
The new scroll is encoded and troubled the majority of all treasure-hunters.
To decode it, letters have alphabettically changed place. Vocals also but sepperately.
This is the translation :
10th Step :
Ok, now you know where the treasure is, but it’s buried under solid rock.
And see the last line (Equip the object about which I asked the sphinx a question)
Seems some Sphinx knows something more.
You can search all Atlantis, asking all sphinxes, but there is 1 particularly which u need.
His name is Heriados and he lives in the Green Glades (loc 4/18).
He’ll asks some riddles to test you.
Answers (/s) :

11th Step :
When Heriados is pleased with the answers, you ask for the spade to dig through rock.
Ask him (/s) about an “enchanted spade”.
He’ll tell you he knows 1 person who can help you.
The Smith Torderos in typhon’s Reach (loc 15/6)
12th Step :
Go to torderos and ask him for a Platinum spade.
It seems to be very expensive, so try trading the spade for the Old Medallion you have.
13th Step :
Once you get the Platinum spade, let’s go get that treasure.
If you thought well of the decoded message, you already know where to go to.
It’s an island in the SW of the central ocean.
Follow the steps of the message and /use your platinum spade at that location.
(Mesothalassa loc 5922/59379 next to a tree)
You’ll dig up a complex mechanism.
14th Step :
Well now, you got what all treasure-hunters were looking for, some time to finish.
Go return your spade to Torderos the smith in exchange for a special medallion.
Final Step :
Travel to the Hall of Heroes and talk to the Scholar Eregos.
Give him your findings and discuss what you’ve been through.
He’ll grant you credit for finding the treasure and give you a small reward.
