Goa gives you bad service!

I took a looong brake from DAoC.. Ca. 4 months free, and when want to play again, i lost my password. I sent many, many, many mails to Goa where i sayd i had changed my email-adress and needed my password but they just sent me som shit back, don't remember what they said at their mail.
But, my problem was: I needed to register my game again, what says, my characters were deleted!!
When i was in the middle of the registration, i found out that i could not just register just Dark Age of Camelot without SI or ToA! I buyed SI. It's a pretty long, bad story, but what i want to say, Goa did not give me any good service! Im sure they just laugh when i sent them my email! What i want to know is, What do you think about the service Goa gives and what do you think about that you need a expansion to register your game? Thanks alot!

Personally i've had no problems with GOA, most of my Rightnow thingies have been awnsered quickly enough (though I don't always like the awnser)

I'm a little surprised your account had been deleted though, I was under the impression GOA didn't do that. Though I can't say i'm that surprised they wouldn't send you your account details, what info did you actually send them? Or was it just a :"My account has XXX called YYY, PPP called SSS and DDD called TTT - I lost the account details give them back!" - type Email?

Sucks to hear about the problems with registering a new account though, that does seem a little gay (Though I didn't think you could even buy Classic as a stand-along anymore)


Anyway, hope you get somthing sorted out.

i was 3 moth without daoc, when i pay my account my druida (hib/prid) lvl 42 was lvl 41 and Serenyty my healer with 612 SC was 500 SC, fssssssssssss to GOA my account is closed atm again.... GOA: i want my healer 50 with 600 sc please dont touch my chars again!!!

Erh, dimwitt... Your characters hasn't been deleted, however ofcourse the account is empty when you register a new one!

Certainly ain't the brightest fish swimming around in the ocean these days...

Aye, i read that the same, you bought a new copy of DAoC (old version), re-registered it as a new account, and found it empty. No surprise there.


You then bought a new copy of SI, again that can only go on a new account, or one thats not been used for 1.5 years, and again got the empty account.

You and only you are responsible for your account, you should have kept your login and subs details safe, and changed your email addy with them. Even if you did change the email addy, you would need access to the old one to confirm the change - a good security feature.

I think you are getting a little confused with your old acc and a new one you just created. And you should email subscription@goa.com with details of your old account, and make sure you dont use the same email address for that and your new one (creates rightnow problems afaik).

Had the same problem, a changed mail address and the old one no longer active. Sent mail to RightNow, they sent letter to my home with account details, problem solved.

To be honest...

I had LOTS of problems with Goa.

Since Goa manage DAoC all are problems.

By the way, as I see... your problem isn't easy to solve since you lost your passwords and you changed your e-mail. With this situation any one can tell to Goa the same as you and get your account...

Haki, you shouldn't panic and certainly not get upset or angry. I remember your post with that cute website
Losing your password is very bad, cuz now you can't log into 'Rightnow' but try the way that Whoodoo gave you, send them an email and give as much info as you can. They need a way to verify that the account is really yours!

If you buy a new game of DAoC, your old chars won't just appaer there. They are on the copy that you used when you were playing DAoC before your break
