Goa Fix Server Lag

Not even funny anymore .. no way is this the performance issues the yanks reported in toa .. 30 second delay in casting while my ping is 30ms in dos to server ? WTf is that about.

Trust goa to ruin another thing in daoc.

and btw kemor no asking for trace routes how about log into prydwen and go to meso zone and see for urself EVERYONE IS GETTING IT. Those with 50000ghz pcs those without .. those playing from australia those playing from office next door to server.

So disppointing this is its not funny.

Do you not read what i said ? Im no newbie i can sit here and run ping to server while playing ......... this has nothing to do with my isp and EVERYONE is getting it. Seriously why make a post here when u cant even read ?

A-ha, Sherlock. So you're saying that something close to 2fg from all over Europe have the same ISP? People even said on /as they were having these lag spikes; are they on same ISP too?

Ye i have same problem atm - 5-10 sec delay on heal yay!
I have this delay in TOA zones only btw.

Aye, meso is worst, mobs sometimes warparound you if you dont pull them carefully, you lag pull adds, you are half dead when your first style land. Then it takes almost rest of the fight until the next style land. Green Glades is the same, laggy.

ToA zone is awful at the moment. 5-6 second delay on all casts makes play impossible.

Other zones are fine, so it's got sod all to do with ISPs.

Ok theres a pattern emerging here ... mid/pryd.

Yes, deffo got a problem on prydwen/mid

I even managed to make doublehits with my warrior (maybe they are too quick those valkyns ) , and using styles is almost impossible...

And this is with 3 green lights in lagmeter...

Healing (or casting spells in general)is a pain, since you start to cast like 0-5 seconds after you press the button...

It's a pain really, please look into it asap pls

It's Pryd.

Server can't handle the load. Excalibur (and some of the other servers) had a hardware upgrade a while back. Pryd didn't.

Only two real fixes: upgrade the server or wait till server pops drop again (after the initial ToA rush).

there's a difference between the "delay" in toa (probably pure server delay) vs connection lag.

connection from belgium today has been totally horrible , with 3-4-5-6s lag and tons of ld's

I play hib/excal and experience major lagproblems, it shows red square in the middle perfmeter icon alot of times and finally results in linkdead, have heard more ppl having these probs...

I do remember a couple of months ago, same problem they blamed it on opentransit router then maybe this is the same ?
