Okay, how the hell do I get one and what level do I have to be to stand a chance of owning one?

I'm willing to let anybody have a night with my Firbolg Hero if they can help me get hold of one. He's blonde, about 8 foot tall and has a scale fetish. He's more than willing to become your bitch if you can show him/help him how to get one.

I think they drop from Glimmer knights.....I think.

If anybody has one of these swords, please let me know where they got it and how hard it was.

Anybody who has grouped with me will know how much I need one of these. They look so cool :(

They are dropped by azures, thror mostly, its very common.

If you mean the one handed blue sword then it is a GlimmerSpirit sword dropped by a named azure in sheeroe.

Yes I have one and yes they are cool. Cons red to me at lvl41 but I still use it a lot (I know I shouldn't but it does 2-3 times the dmg my normal sword does!!!)

OMG - I hate you so much! :D

How far do I have to go to get it? What kind of team should I get together and does everybody get the drop or do I have to start killing realm mates for it?

Get to lvl 45-46 when you can use it effectively and I will give you one. If you want a glowing sword that you can use now, get a Shadow Crystal Slicer, 15.6 dps one handed sword, drops off Abyses/Wees in Mine.

I wen't into Sheeroe Hills tonight to find some named Azures. We found some and killed some. One glowing sword drop. It was a 2 handed though and now my guild mate has one :(

Sorry Cer....I have 2 :p but they con red to me so I only use 1 of them for RvR the rest is waiting for me to lvl.

If i was you i would kill dullahans to get the harvester, it is the only dps 16.2 sword that proc at lvl 49. glmmerspirit sword proc at 50, same with glistening broadsword.

I already have that Harvester of Malign Doom, in fact I think I have two.

It was just that when I was a young firbolg boy my father, while on his death bed having been in a fight with a siabra, told me that I should find a glimmering sword and avenge his death.

That's my reason and I'm sticking to it...:D

Seriously though, thanks for the help, apart from Nedowiz :p , Prydwen Hibernia is a very cool place to play DAoC.

S'right Cerebus. There is a huge stockpile of these swords in Hibernia just lying around on the floor. Everyone know where they are except you.

Yup i have one and i am a spear hero :)

Need to go to sheeore and kill those named azures mostly wizzies stuff drops :( but u will get it in the end :)

weird thread.. in a way

i think everyon on hib/exc has this sword

even enchanters and their pets :p

ultimate slash weapon for rvr tho in my opinion, so worth the "trouble"

procs at 50, boring effect, harvester is gonna have the lightning dd proc effect, so i think i'll start dual wielding them in rvr for the coolness effect :p

We wen't to see the Glimmer Dragon last night! We got wiped out in one blow and I think I got hit for 2995 hp.

Really funny, unfortunatly we wen't a different way than the Azures although I had an absoloute riot. Probably one of the funniest nights I have had in a while.

Don't you just love going somewhere like Sherroe in a group of 30 and out of those, you have 5 leaders? I was literally falling of my seat laughing at some of the arguements.....erm I mean....conversations the group was having. :D
