Who was He/She ?. Whenever I look at some of the posts there are some references to Old.Glen. What was so funny about the person. Inquiring minds wish to know ?

I dunno what people found funny (I'm assuming I_AM_GLENN was the same guy). But he wrote in 'broken english'* and said stuff like kekekeke. One of only three people I've ever put on ignore. Most of the time his posts were pointless and hard to read.

at the time it became a joke to state that Scooba was Glen. if you read the Eq thread in the film forum you'll see a sample of Glen's posting style. the quote in Trem's sig is me speaking to Glen after telling him off (iirc).

Glen did a spam in one empty forum once that was quite amusing, some conversation with himself.
The mods know who it is (ip logged), but can't say presumably because of the law.

More likely the law against revealing computer information, the DPA would stop bw mods from revealing his IP?

OK, just to clear up who Glen is/was.
He was a well known member of The DVDForums who was mildly ridiculed over there as well.
I'm pretty sure that he started posting on here when I mentioned these forums over there a few times.
Anyway, he joined and basically started posting stuff copied from the DVDForums and passing it off as his own. One of which was the old i-frames trick which I had posted over at DVDF first.
Thing is, he leached my webspace for the i-frame image so I went and changed the image he was leaching to a message about get your own webspace Glen.
He continued to post stuff from DVDF not knowing that it was quite old for these forums so he pretty quickly got the reputation for doing such. It was xenon2000 who then made it more official in his terrific Newbie Guide where he specically mentioned a "Glen" as someone who posts something without searching first.
The rest is history and Glen has not been seen here or at DVDF at all lately.
I_Am_Glen is probably another forum member who used that name to take the piss and I doubt he is at all related to the original Glen.

I thought it was Kez who did the newbie guide, I am probably wrong, but I don't think it was xenon2000 unless he changed his name. That should really be posted again as it was truly great.

Kez was certainly involved in a newbie guide, he hosted it himself at the time iirc. I have no idea if there are 'other' or definitive newbie guides as well though.
