Give you healer some love :)

Healer is the master of controll pve or RvR but help is a nice thing .
1. Thanes + worriors could help with guard intercept, should be just as natural as them getting a buff from the healer, I know it's a bit bugged but do work sometimes.

2. Rm's now most speced darkness so more healing to do:/
Be kind help with a root here and there b4 you find your nuke button and a fend between fights is allways nice.

3. Shammies can root and sometimes it's even better then mess.
Hold back on aoe DOT PLZ and cast a frigg on people runing away from batle safes healer alot of work.

4. Sm's not gonna ask them to get res, probelly some will when they begin getting rp's doing it, but do fell free to help mess.

5. Sklads plz help getting minstrell or bard messed asap it's so much easyer to mess stun heal when they moving slow and
normally a minstrell will get healer stuned b4 healer can cast a spell if no instean cc stun is ready.

6.SB's almost always think his job is to snaek over kill the caster restealth and then wait for next target. Funny how healers always get an infil ns doing pa cd on us and next 6 sec we are out of the game. Stay close WHEN needed pa cd any stealther trying to sneak in or even a tank getting through , thoese 6 sec stun would help healer and the group alot.

6. Hunters probelly the best team players in the game or maybe mythic did gimp them so much they have to ? allways find them helping where needed.

7. No it does not give RP killing pets attaking healers but it's sure takes them 5 times the time to kill it then any other class in the game, time that could have benn spend on better things.

Yes, Mythic gimped me but they gave bards those sweet instruments and Sorcs this awesome epic armor. Whenever I see this epic armor it yells 'Shoot me! SHOOT ME!!! I'm the main cc!' at me and I just have to. Same with instruments of course.
I dont want to help my group. I just kill the cc because I can't resist.

Not a healer, but as a shaman, I find the most annoying thing and the area of greatest need of help from fellow midguardians in RvR is the killing of the damn pets. Yellow, blue, green or grey they all can take me out the fight for the duration, and yellows and blues offer risk of killing me outright. Even greens can make shamans that are not at full health eat dirt.

I find the macro "/y KILL THE DAMN PET" helps significantly , especially when running into whatever hunters and casters we have left.

one more thing zapsi. to all damagedealers: when you dropped a target and are looking for next one, do not hit F8! instead look around and see what your healer is up to.
too many times i have had 2-4 tanks on me with nobody in the group reacting. having as much as one tank on me leaves me as useless as if i was messed. so (and this goes for all classes) KILL STUFF THAT ARE BOTHERING YOUR HEALER! thanx

Not defencive Assasin but one that conciders the the whole group first. Iam pretty sure a nuker or a healer can deal more damage in a fight over time then a sb. Still take out casters or what u see best if thats needed. But then be the group player after and stay close not running away in sprint waiting for stealth.
We have many sb that play with group but when it comes to fight, they act as if its them alone , you got your come hit next rarely time to wait (10 sec b4 u can restealth + 10 sec till end is back 10 sec till stick on next target) b4 the fight is over.

Freia thats what doing to much zerk does to players , dont think F8 hit hit aoe, Look at the group healbar sure it will tell all you need to know. Hate having to blow a group instean heal and iam the only on low HP.

It is funny when youve got people calling for heals, and at the end of the fight they say, I shouted for heals mate, and you didnt heal.

I am quietly thinking that I had to wait 30 seconds for the damn summoned pets to die, then had to heal myself as I was nearly dead (and shamans get no insta luxury like the healers do).

Then I dropped a dot and a DD on an approaching enemy who is now charging me down as they have seen me casting heals, and I am being asked, why I did not heal?

All I can say is "/y KILL THE DAMN PETS".

(In defence of those that do aid me and other healers/shammies, and there are those that do, thanks alot. That goes especially to those I group with quite a bit now.)

(Also a note, I am really not the best healer around . I was truly raised in caves and learned my magic there.)

My major gripe is that as a healer I try to do just that, HEAL.
I'm runnning through Emain with my group, I find a couple of dead Mids, so I stop and try to rez them, drop a quick "Wait up, doing a rez" on group chat, and what happens?
Nine times out of ten im left all on my own, ready to be ganked by the nearest Infiltrator.
Groups should protect their healers, because lets face it dead healers can't heal.

It's worse. A healer that gets hit at all can't heal. And a healer that has some silly tank stuck on him can heal just as much as a dead healer.

not done much rvr but things can be just as bad in pve...
in pve i find i have to do all the healing, all the CC and some of the buffing. not to have a jab but some of u tanks dont have to think about a thing, f6 then style style style etc
would be nice if u zoomed out a bit and had a look, sometimes i have to /y help healer plse just so u notice i am under attack. alos some appreciation of the fact that i have to manage me power and no ae on mezzed thigns helps too! having said that i have group with some ace tanks who are constantly on the lookout for me at the ed of the day if ure a team player the gorup does better and im much more likely to waste an insta on somone who protects me than a gung ho warrior who thinks he can take the world.
tips for healers thou, make sure u try and inform ure group of stuff such as instas used and powr situation, they can find out pow by themselves but if u tell them they pay more atention.
another thing just whle im on the forum, u guys reakon mythic will ever give an end bar readout on group tab?

Just a quick comment on the SB thing, Main problem is that no matter if the healer is free to heal those silly tanks fighting enemy tanks while the casters nuke them to death are going to die FAST.

As a SB I lose count of the times the tanks of a group or zerg run up to the nearest enemy and start whacking away (HINT: casters stay the furthest away) assasins are great for killing casters fast but in situations like this ive actually been nuked to death before I can kill a caster, for SB's to be able to protect a healer tanks(not just skald's) need to engage the casters first.

Also id think a warrior/thane would be much better to defend a healer Slam being the main reason for that (slam enemy tanks >before< they get to healer then move on to casters/CC classes while healer mezz's tanks that were stunned)

Very nice post Zapzap, the thing is though....in emain mids become their own group thinking of their own RP, its not about surviving, but gaining rp, that can also be seen when we split up after we finally got through mmg and get wiped bit by bit.
As a darkness runie, i often stay back and take casters who step abit to far out from the crowd, else i mainly stay back and nuke whoever is sticked to a mid.

About SBs, i find them to be some of the best attack on milegates, if they can just get through, they can easily get to the battlements and backstab/PA a caster adn jump over the edge and restealth, and pull their trick again, and after borrowing a couple of SBs accounts i know this works, putting out a caster for 20-30sec means alot in those attacks/defenses/stand-offs

And, its not only healers who need that protection, casters'n'shammies as well...that is one of the things i like (well i am a mid, so i dislike it), they really protect their local cleric or caster, they engage when someone starts hitting the caster or cleric, and thats really useful.

Anyways, nice post ZapZap, if people would only listen, and if healer would only come to emain <begs> i dont want pox or anything, just mezz/stun pls

what I do sorta depends on the circumstances....

usually, its straight in and slam the CC people, if there's a caster that I can reach, he's dead

in emain though, guard on healer and wait for the infil pop

I could not agree more, especially on protection while resting. I do not know how many times I have got killed by an assasin while resting, very common after victorious battles and rezz have drained every single pow. The rest of the group runs away hunting fleeing enemys eager to get a few more RP. I just need a kind soul to watch over me as I sitt defenceless.
