Give us a refund

Think GOA should dip in thier pockets and give us all a free month due to the server. For months now they have been putting of upgradeing Excal with excuse after excuse. Really winds me up when i pay good cash and cannot play when i want.

On the other hand, I've played daoc for well over a year and really enjoyed it, so I'm not complaining too much.

How they would fair in other industries is irrelevant, the fact is that GOA are doing better things than DAoC than quite a few developers are doing with their own games. Look at SWG and SB, then come back here with your "we're so mistreated" whines.

Will be interesting to see how many players leave when SWG, DE and WoW become established/are released.

totally useless service compared to us servers, allmost seems like excalibur/prydwen are the "trash" servers, they dont give a shit about them etc.. - i just get a feeling about this, because we have had quite alot of problems lately and no CSR's etc... - also no test server at all.. (affects all players tho)

GOA do only provide the servers for EU, and the servers are totally shit, they dont even touch the code, they are like monkeys translateing the english into german and french, and thats about all they do, - oh yeah, well they throw in some excuses here and there why they wont be able to patch (ie because they rathey spent several months sitting eating baguettes than doing what they get payed for)...

- no herald
- no CSR's
- no testserver
- poor performance on servers

- and some other stuff

fyi me and many other people are very happy with prydwen..little to no lag and good performance (obviously since our upgrade).

CSR's = pfft (Look at that thief and how the CSR banned the victims \o/ in the U.S)

Herald would be nice with GOA's view on new things from mythic but then again I am personally not bothered, I can just go to the American herald to see what is up comming in daoc. I have never had any problems with GOA and many people can complaining have no idea on how the set up of servers works and the problems than can occer all they think about is "0mfg g!vf d40c"

I am sure GOA are working as hard as they can to resolve the issue

On a side note I do hope they fix the servers soon so all you fkin excal trash get off our server

My issue is that this is the 2nd time in a week that Excal has gone down. I have lost count the number of times that i have heard " Excal will be the next server to get the updated hardware......." only to hear a few weeks later, " Due to <insert lame excuse here> we have had to postpone the new server for Excal. This will now be upgraded in the next two weeks."

Yes in general the servers are up most of the time. That in its self is not an excuse to forgive them when they are down due to bad hardware. If you go to a pub and the beer is normal fine, does that stop you moaning and asking for a replacment if you get a bad pint?

It is now over 12 hours that the server has been down or at least since i was able to log in. The last news about this was posted at 9pm UKtime. So they haven't even bothered to update the news saying whats is going on atm.

Ok, the servers down for a few hours so you can go do something else, but that completely misses the point that you are paying for a service that is not being made available.

considering this isnt the first time that excal has crashed due to poor hardware its about time GoA just replaced the server and got it over and done with.

ohh and as for compensation i reckon 1 level for people < 50 is good enough and maybe 30k rp`s for people > 50

Seems to me that Goa need to update the server. If the current server cant handle mass pvp in a mass pvp game then it should be changed.

GOA get on with it!

If people really want to see change then start spamming Mythic who granted Goa the license in the first place.

Basically I spent my Sunday wasting precious time whilst some people who organised the Mid RR spent much more than that. As GOA have known there is a problem it is their fault and they owe a big apology to the hundreds of peeps whose time they have wasted. If they keep pissing off the people who put effort into making the game work then the game will fall apart.

Dont need /csr (shudder) or third (underpopulated) server or stupid rpg events, just a decent server so that we can stick it to those Hibs in a manner which they truly deserve.

TBH guys, anything you get be thankful for. Its not like you can take your DAoC custom elsewhere now is it, therefore they know that they have you captive. The fact that we all come here for our whine therapy shows just what a captive audience we are.

Whats more, I have rediscovered life, and some of it is even fun!!
