Final Fantasy: Advent Children.
Downloaded it, watched it. Wasn't too impressed tbh. The graphics were good, and some of the music was good, but would've preferred it if the music were somewhat more like the music in FF7. The storyline was what ruined the movie for me, it was crap.

I only recognised the FF7 music in the intro. Apart from that I heard very few familiar tunes, unfortunately. I did enjoy seeing the old FF7 crew, Cloud etc, but the story was fairly crap, to me.

I fell of my couch laughing when the "end of a fight" music was playing after that fight in the church (the bad guy's ring tone)

Then again it doesn't take much to make me laugh ... or make me fall of my couch .. for that matter

Well the link is Japanese with English subs. Most anime series etc are fine to watch with subs, but for some reason the subs on this kind of took my attention from the actual movie :d So I need to work on my Japanese I guess :<

They're Final Fantasy's equivalant to horses, more or less
The reason you didn't get some things was probably that you didn't play FF7 (or I'm guessing you didn't, as Chocobo's are fairly hard not to notice ), which you really should
It's a shame that the game's outdated now, or at least the graphics (and some of the gameplay, like being unable to use analog shit in there) because the storyline and some of the things in there are really nice. If Square was to 'remake' the game for the PS3, with new graphics, some new options and maybe some kind of added storyline, there'd be no doubt about me getting it. The same goes for the games prior to FF7, and FF8/9 aswell, as I enjoyed playing them, but beating the same game 3-4 times gets rather boring

i liked it.. yeah it was slow.. its a japanese game they love the grind fest you level played an import verion of Final Fantasy they are a lot harder to level in.. we get it easy tbh

Completed FF7 when i was like 8 though.

As for Advent Children, seen it, i loved the action scenes, and some of the music was good too, only thing i didn't like was lack of story line and Materia! Where was the Ultima and Comet 2 magic!

And Knights of the round for that matter!

the only think I reallly didnt like about the film was the fact they used FF10 model for bahamut and not the FF7 which imo look much much better..

FF 4,5,6 where great out of the 3 old ones FF6 was the better. I played FF1 and 2 for the NES(with translations), and not the updated playstation verion they where ok. but nothing speical, FF7 had a great story just like 6.. FF8 was good the game system was weird and got boaring when you played it again (as some of you saw on my desktop there is a cheat for it ) FF9 was very good but very shot imho,
FF10 is weird.. he had spach which was turned off after 10min of starting the game Fucking american wankers suck as casting voices) the game was good imho lots todo..think I racked up about 140h play time b4 I did everything inc dark summons and the moster area boss.
FF10-2 mm well turn it on watch the intro start to play the game fell asleep..its still on my shelf lol.
FF11 I liked this game.. but didnt have many ppl to play with that I knew, got to level 40/30 friends droped out.. so I ended up quiting :<
FF12 where the fUCK are joo.. :/

anyway if you like them I recomend Grandia 1 for the playstation(graphices are weird but I loved the story)
Grandia 2 was ok.. but 34hours to complete a RPG :/ just isnt right tbh
