why do a petition when they will already give us one?

Following the improvements of various servers early this year, we are still keeping our eyes and monitors open, checking the performances and population. As of today, the server Excalibur is the first on our list in need of upgrades (with a swap to the now known bi-Xeon).

Heh, any idiot knows hib zone crashes if you take 300 attackers on a relic raid. Try taking a smaller zerg next time

A better server wont fix the buggy code that causes zone crashes

I dont want a new english server
It just make you loose lots of friends case of moving, and that is the only reason to still play this game for many of us. I lost my major fun on everquest after a new server popped up and "merged" with the one i played on, dont want it to happen here ^_^ ( i know its not a merge, but any new server will take valuable friends away from MY excalibur =)

uhm they didnt mean make a new server as in a 3rd english server, but improving the hardware off the existing excalibur server. Replacing the "old" servers with new ones .

I really think some people don't read the first post properly.

Oh, and I agree. We need new hardware. Not quite sure why though because it was running fine a year ago with around the same number of people. Perhaps it's the new zones, characters, graphics, items, buffbots, spamming Spaniards, more mobs, more different mobs, bigger mobs, more radar users, more orbits around the sun, more ants in the wiring (Phase 4)...
