Whenever scenarios pops for join.. I would like an audible signal telling me so. A simple "pling" would suffice.

I usually que up for scenarios standing in a warcamp since I do the PvPquests also, waiting, I usually cant be arsed to quest etc at the same time since I dont wanna PvE when im qued for PvP. I tend to alt-tab and surf and do other things, an audible signal would be darn nice so I dont have to stare at the screen all the time. God knows how many scenarios I've missed so far just because I cant alt-tab once per minute.

Its a problem that is easily solved with dual monitors, I had hoped that I wouldnt have to use double screens for WAR as I did in DAoC though :(

I know, Im lazy ;)

Yep ditto, although im not sure how the audiable sound would work if you've alt-tabbed out. It's not too bad in vista as i'll just have a mouseover on the bar at the bottom so i can see it in a mini screen if the scenario pops up.

playing in windowed mode with windows at 1280 * 1024 and war at 1280 * 968 does the job for me. basically it works as fullscreen with the windows task bar on screen too. works much smoother than alt tab which often leaves me with a black screen.

i guess an audiable signal would be nice but then there would be discussion about what stuff would need an audiable signal... audiable signal when something attacks you ? when someone send you a tell ? when you are afk too long and gone be logged out ?

i thought the aim of playing a game was to actually play it and not sit around at your pc waiting for your game character to actually do something.

that's like life imitating life, i don't get it tbh.

just fkin stood around doing nothing...........

I tend to craft during que, more so as i seem to take a long time to leave a scenario :( doing a /who <scenario name> usually shows players i was in with previously yet i join as soon as i leave! must have a slow computer. Also you might consider reading a book if crafting isnt your thing ^^

I've mixed quests/PQ's with Tor Anroc tonight for about 8 hours. Questing/PQing took me around 5 hours or so perhaps, I usually tend to stay in a warcamp for the scenario-quests while doing scenarios since I dont want to run around questing or doing PQs while I wait. Whats your problem? All I asked for was a signal that tells me that scenario is up when I'm doing something else on the side so I dont have to stare like an idiot at the screen. I really dont understand why you assume I aint playing the game since you know nothing about me at all. Assumption is the mother of all fuckups, learn that quote and remember it next time you assume anything about anyone/anything you know nothing about. :m00:
