so far i've only gotten dodger 3 since that was all i really needed for pve (5 bubs to go tally-ho)

dodger 3 is amazing in pve as far as i'm concerned and definetly (sp?) worth the points

i was planning on long wind 2 and determination 2 with the points i have atm (r3l3)

any other gimps err berserkers have experiences to share?

Save points for ip it's awsome..
I can't say that it allways save u but many time it does, and if it not save ur life it make u kill one b4 u die nearly all the time..

Ikk 2 many find something that dont use polarms and plat :)..
Stick Hit untill u are on low hp Ip frenzy dead alb or hib b4 u die :)

same i took ip and it saved me atleast 2 times nows.
btw rudor,did you went for 2h axe now?i tried it briefly but i still think dual wield is better even though we are gimped to death. :D

Most of time i use 2 axes but sometimes 2hander..
i try 2 use other styles then df tho :).
But my bigest problem is that i miss alot with mainaxe and that suck ..
From a alb/hib side
Rudor hit you for 50-70..

There are some Vikings who pass up the traditional gods, Thor and Tyr, for the immense power offered by the God Modi of battle. Modi calls his followers Berserkers, and grants them the ability to utterly decimate opponents in battle with frenzy and rage using the unique Berserk Ability.
The life of a Berserker is not an easy one. Berserkers do not have access to any spells, they cannot wear heavier armors, or use any shields beyond small. But in spite of this, Berserkers are amongst the most feared opponents anyone will ever meet on the battle ground.
By driving themselves into a Berserker frenzy, every attack with their weapon becomes a critical hit on their opponent. Even though this feral rage drives all emotions except for bloodlust from the mind of a Berserker, they still retain the instinctual combat styles, and can execute these during their frenzy to inflict massive amounts of damage on their opponent in a very short time. Whatever a Berserker lacks in defense and magic is more than compensated with his offensive prowess.

yeah, why the hell do they call it berserker anymore? the point with a berserker is do inflict a great amount of damage, whiny usa albs :)

The shameful fact is all LW heros, LW Champs and even some 2H Thanes outdamage Zerkers over time, and they are all considered heavy tanks as opposed to shock troops.

Question is how often do Zerkers swing? assuming they are using Arc Double Bladed Axe in RH and the fastes 16.2dps LA (thats over 93% Quality)???

I theory Zerkers should be hitting for base 60% per weapon (120% total) + 0.5% per spec point in LA.

Assuming most Zerks have 60 Axe/LA, lets say 30% damage boost from spec alone, + 120% from the 2 axes = 150% Damage. (Not even counting that spec over 50 gives diminishiing returns and the fact the LA has no tohit bonus and so the base damage is lost a LOT)

Consider very few usable styles in mass/skirmish RvR and LW/CS Spearo, LW Champ, Pole/2H Armsman probably outdamage zerkers with their 140% Large Weapon/2H bonus and superior styles and damage types.

Zerkers definately need some loving.

The worst thing Mythic did was make the LA have no tohit bonus and move style damage to the Right hand only.
to compound this they heavily nerfed the best Style Zerks got and so instead of doing 80% Style damage on the RH (ie missed LA wasnt so bad) they moves a lot of damage to Base, ie missed LA means loss of a lot of damage.

I still dont know the reason why LA Style damage is not applied evenly across both axes and why the Left hand doesnt have the same tohit % as the right hand when using styles.

Mythic think swinging faster due to the Slow Style hand fast Off hand setup makes up for this?, BOLLOX to that I say.

I woulda picked Zerker if they had set em up as above, in essence Zerkers are just a Light tank with a for show LA in their Offhand (hell would it make much diff if the LA didnt even swing? probably not)

I wanna see Zerks Dual Wielding equal Speed Axes and both axes doing equal damage and having equal (high) to hit chance.

Zerkers should even get a class specific bonus to hit imo, god sake they are born for going insane and lashing out with great vengeance, let the guys have a high chance to land blows.

Level 50 Gimp Thane joins the crusade for some Zerker Loving, I know how ya feel :(

BTW CS/LW/mid 2h is a 150% damage bonus, albion pole/2h is a 200% bonus (to make up for it costing uber spec points).

Dan thats news to me, mid 2H is definately 115% bonus only and all other realms 2H is 140%, poles prolly higher yes.

in essence mid has lowest 2H bonus due to not rewquiring to spec in it. :(
