So record chunks of it while you sleep or something and bung it on an iPod?

I didn't realise you could stream internet radio via your average car radio. Your 10 year old BMW must rock!

Well, until Intel perfect WiMAX and start spitting wireless networks across the length of the UK I'd forget it and stick to ripping & burning. Just pretend it's live ;)

Could do it via wap (of which you get loads of free minutes with that o2 deal in the other thread) at a cool 9.6kbit/s. :)

having said that if you got the 60gig hd model you could fit enough mp3's on it to travel from one end of the country to another without listening to the same song twice

(maybe)

60Gb of tunes onto a 20Gb iPod? I'd just wait for the 60Gb iPod  not long now.

You have 0 taste. That's hideous - and I normally like Sony gear.

Pffft. Don't lecture me about taste when you have an Xbox. It entitles you 0 position to comment!

I don't think iPod's are particularly nice looking. A bit dull if anything. If that Sony mp3 player was all chrome instead of that black bit stuck on it, I'd ram it up my arse and cum fountains.

True, the iPod is a bit dull looking but it is a fantastic piece of kit. The software on it is so utterly easy to use (the actual device software, I've not tried iTunes). Tbh, if I didn't think MP3's were utter toss and used public transport, I'd probably buy one.

the only problem with such a large music collection, i have 16 gigs on mine atm, is that it takes ages to scroll through. At least with my old 64mb one i knew what i had on it and what was coming next.

Yes, yes, i know you can set a playlist but its just not the same!
