Hope you don't get banned, but still decided to report your hiding of your pet inside the amg this afternoon, had enough of LoS abuse, even if it doesn't go against CoC hiding your pet inside amg like you did today does. I hope you don't get banned, only want to teach you a lesson, but if you do then you deserve it!

I was in his group for about an hour this morning. The pets were inside the tower at MMG, they weren't inside the wall Unless this happened when I left. And yes, we pharmed j00

Edlina, you did the right thing. Rather safe than sorry. From what I've seen in the past, Gilly isn't one to do this, BUT, there is always a first time.

If in doubt, report, let GOA deal with it.

Yes, they'll all go make Supp-Spec'd Bonedancers, which will be the FotM for a long while yet.

Mids were camping the amg when we came, about 2-3fgs we cleared them (with 1 fg and only one death - yay for uber Conquest & me (soz )) and then 2 albs came, 1 paladin, plate wearer anyway, and Gilly who had, before going to hib side, hid his/her pet inside the amg on the Albion side. Gilly started casting and we wen't through and managed to spot the pet inside the wall, killed it and him/her.

I seriously doubt you spotted MY pet inside the wall tbh ^^ ive never hid my pet inside a wall yet and i dont intend to, i farm mids easily enough from the MG room thank you very much

Not sure you can call that cheating , if you can target and damge the pet and obviously you could because you killed it then its not. Simple case of sour grapes at being being whacked i think.

Afaik, thats not cheating.

You can actually see the pet and therefore target it, ie, the pet is not inside the wall.

Not quite sure what that screenie is supposed to show, but whoevers pet it is, it certainly isnt in the wall, next to.. but not inside, therefore theres nothing wrong ^^

Killing the pet has nothing to do with it being legal or not. What makes it legal, is that you can use F8 and/or your mouse to target it.

This is what i saw some days ago at mmg- 2 necros, gilly and kalea were there and we just couldnt find the pets, then i saw someone casting from inside the wall, which makes sense since after being casted on and facing the pet from both sides of mmg it seemed to point straight into the wall...

What im not sure about though is 1. Whos pet that was.
2. If that is really the pet, i have no experience playing necros and i have rvr:ed very little since necros began coming to the frontiers... But i have no other explanation..

Hrorvaig, you have nothing targetted, but from what you say, I think you're seeing the two necros in shade form, not the pets.

Yeah, but i am seeing something/someone cast from inside the wall, but as i said in the earlier post, i have no real experience of necros so i myself cant make out if thats the pet or the necro casting even though im suspecting the pet...

I made the screenshot smaller so it wouldnt take so long to view so it might be hard to see, but if you look inside the red circle you'll see a spelleffect coming out from the wall.

That pet is a rushed attempt by a necro to place a pet in an unreachable position, the fact the pet is only 75% inside the wall is just poor positioning by the necromancer and a laughable attempt to abuse this commonly use bug.

There's a very slight chance that maybe (just maybe) the necro accidentaly placed the pet half inside the wall when they were stood near the milgate and facing towards it when they summoned then again probably not.

It was an attempt at cheating, and it was a pathetic and laughable attempt at cheating, report them as action can still be taken if GOA think the pet was purposely placed inside the wall there. You would need some proof of the shades identity though.

Yes I was there that morning, but if you think back to that day, you and your friends rushed the MG room killing my pet and then me, therefore proving it wasnt me ^^ I know who the other necro was with the pet in the wall but I'm not saying who it was, I did however, tell them that it was against the CoC and they later moved it to the MG room also ^^ Once again i must state I never put my pet in a wall, ive got many people willing to vouch for that in alb and no doubt many mids and hibs that have also killed me and my pet.

whever you get killed by a necro with no pet visible, report to rightnow.
Include time. name of chars, and place.
If we can nail just 1 of these lamers, it will be worth it.

Ok, then i apologize. I dont like to accuse people of things im not 100% sure they were doing, so thats why i wanted some opinions on the screenshot i posted.

But if you are telling the truth then it aint that hard to guess who the necro that put his pet in the wall really was

its not even worth sending as they claim it as legal.. and it is legal.. its just a bit of a sneaky way to kill people... that's why they don't reply or even waste their time on all the idiot necro reports.

Well, its a difference having a pet inside a mg, and inside a wall.
In the mg the pet can be both targeted and harmed, in a wall its kinda different. I dont have anything against necros putting pets inside mgs, thats part of the game as it is this patch and cannot be regarded as exploiting, BUT putting them inside the walls is, ie- they can hurt you, but you cant hurt them is... just as it would be with any other character doing the same thing...

This is very much the point I think a lot of people have been missing.

Personally I dissaprove of bug exploitation, especially in RvR. However, when hibs have been doing very similar things for so long I begin to lose interest in my high ideals and I just cheer on the necro's these days - provided they don't spawn their pets within a wall or something. These are sad days and it's all mythics fault. But lets not pretend that alb are doing something that the other realms aren't (hibernia surely to my knowledge).
