Giants: Citizen Kabuto

This game is fricking fantastic. I am starting to get so annoyed with these real life simulations, while i still like them and always will, this game is a great break. I bought it yesterday after reading a few reveiws (gamespy 91% etc http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/december00/giants/index.shtm) and I was very impressed. It is basicaly a 1st or 3rd person shooter with lots of action and lots of comedy.

The thing that realy does it for me is the "smarties". They are your resources that you have to gather to build your base, I hosted a multiplayer game and launched it on my own just to get a feel for it. I went out and picked up a smartie and dropped him off at the smartie pad in my base. He immediatly started to build a pub then sat down with a big pint of beer, this made me laugh.

Just wondering if anyone else had it here?

I got it, and very nice it is too. Very good looking, but a bit of a strain to run , I have to run it at under 1/2 view distance otherwise it chugs along in some of the larger levels.
Makes a nice change from the normal style FPS that I would play, although the fact that you cant save in the midlle of a level is very frustrating some times. In the long run I'll probably be gratefull that it makes it last so long.
Havent tried multiplayer yet, are there many servers up?

yeah quite a few servers if you go through gamespy arcade but it usually crashes this will be patched soon.

Don't worry i have to have the veiw distance down too.
