Ghosts and Supernatural Stuff

Anyone on here believe in ghosts or have any experience of the supernatural. Some strange poop has been going in my house of late and it looks as though we are being haunted again. I know some people have an open mind and some people have a closed mind about the subject but I wondered if anyone had any experience of this ?

Some may recall about 18 months back I posted up some info about our house being haunted. Well we got the local vicar in just before xmas and everything was cool up until a few weeks ago when all the stuff started up again with things being moved around the house and such

i get that sometimes, but usually attribute it to me having some sort of short term memory loss (ie tables, chairs, sandwiches, etc being moved around even if only slightly )

Well I am sure I told you about all the stuff being moved around out house. I may have told you about my 3 year old having his sleep disturbed. Also about him waking up with a visible ammount of hair cut off his head whilst he was asleep. Well anyway we got the local vicar in and she blessed the house just before xmas. It was weired as when she was doing it the house went colder and me and my wife felt visibly sick. Her closing comment was that this works but if things get worse then call me and I will arrange for a more specialised branch of the church to come round

Anyway last 6-7 months things have been quiet until recently. On Tuesday night I fed the dog with his food that is kept on the top of the fridge. 10 mins later I went back into the kitchen and I noticed that something was different in there. I then noticed that the bag of food I had put back on top of the fridge was on the worktop. some 2 feet down. This has happened every night since Tuesday. We put the bag on the fridge and then when we go in it has been moved.

Could you elaborate on that?

Were there any hair cuttings left behind?

Yes there was. There was a visible cut on his hair not consistent with hair growth right near his crown. It was a straight line. Almost as if it was done with scissors so to stand out from his normal hair style.

He does not have scissors in his bedroom

It's like UFOs, why do we always get sketchy footage, or bad quality footage? Why don't they land in hyde park in a huge space ship and say "we're here!!" for everyone to see?

well... UFO's probably dont wanna be seen coz they're looking into earth or they're a government project.
Ghost probably cant show itself on our plan and is probably a mean bitch so they scare people that way.

in denmark we had a show called "ånders magt" (the power of the spirits) which showed excorsism in normal peoples home. Dunno if it was fake or not, but some times it was really scary.

Please set up a webcam in your kitchen

Ash you freaked me out last time, and you've just freaked me out again!

Ash set up a webcam / video camera in the kitchen. Everyday for a week record the area around the dog food. Do not tell anyone you are doing it. This will help you elimiate your wife, kids, friends i.e anyone human from being aware they might be watched. Feed the dog as normal and do everything normally and if the bag moves you've got it on cam.

You could also get one of those cheap 99p door alarms where if the contact is broken (ie door opens) an alarm sounds. Place one piece on the dog food bag and the other on the top of the fridge. Switch it on and hang nearby for a while and should it move you can race into the kitchen, although then again who knows what you might find at that point :/

Has anything happened in the house recently? If it is a ghost/spirit then they only reappear if there is negative energy around the house, like a kid being bullied at school, someone in the family who has past away recently and everyone is thinking about it... If you can find the source (say bullying at school) and sort it the ghost/spirit should go away.

If things get worst then contact the vicar as she advised.

If things carry on, forget the church! I have a proton accelerator back-pack charged up and ready to go! It will cost you more than the church and it will more than likely leave your kitchen in ruins but...err, no more moving bags of doggie treats.

Primitive man always used to attribute things he could'nt explain to spirits - in such situations it is always best to apply Occam's Razor - on the dog food its obvious...

Webcam or door alarm suggestions seem to be the best so far. The most important thing being not to tell anyone you're doing it so if it is your kid or someone else then you can catch them. But if it is as you think, a ghost, then you'll have one hell of a story to tell....in which case...go with the webcam.

I tried setting up my Video camera in the Kitchen but it did not record anything. Albeit it only could record 2 hours max ( I think). I am also going to leave a glass on the table tonight see if it gets moved at all. The weird thing is that these latest happenings were relatively early in the evenig, around 19.00. Its just plain weird.

I did try and speak with the spirit/entity just saying if you are there then show me a sign kind of thing. Anyway. it was just me sat there in shorts & t shirt thing and something cold touched my leg. It was the weirdest sensation. It wasn't like skin touching skin. It was cold and it was more than just a kind of brush past. Like sometimes if the window is open you can sometimes feel the breeze brushing past your skin. It was more than that. Maybe for 4 or 5 seconds. Its hard to explain.

My wife is sure that it is her Gran who is visiting us. I would want to get in contact with a medium or spiritualist. I am loathe to get one out of the yellow pages or the local paper as experience tells me that some of them are Charlatans and have very little experience of this. Most of the good ones don't really advertise so I am lead to beleive

I think the worst thing about being haunted, especially by a dead relative, is that you could be doing the nasty upstairs in your bedroom and then suddenly the thought of your dead gran watching you pops into your head...Yeurgh! What a mood killer.

Sounds right on haunt-ville Ash. A webcam would be a perfect option, and a live feed to the forum peeps would be a price. I bet there would be atleast 20 people here watching for, what i'll call a visitor, 24/7.

Taliking to the "visitor" isn't one that is suggested, but i think communication is as important as with a girlfriend. If you don't it'll get mighty ticked off. Just don't go and do something silly like leave the dogfood on the worktop, 'cause then the visitor has to do something else. And moving foggy chow, well, that's mildly harmless as mischiefs go.

My personal experience is a bit, on off situation. I can "feel" someone in my 1/2 underground(yeah it's weird) apartment. It's the mildly chilly wind moving about. Seems like a lovely visitor, never really does anything. Now the other thing that happened, made me a bit more..on the edge.

I was outside my apartment in the middle of the night(duh), having a smoke. Moonlit sky, stars shining and i was looking at them as usual. My "backard" is the parking lot of the houses about, like, a block of 6 storie(sp?) houses with a lot of peeps. The yard in itself is divided between the houses, with four walls. Now, i looked down from the stars and ontop a wall was a dark, crouching figure... and i bullshit you not when i say, it's eyes gleemed in the moonlight like a cats/dogs would. It only looked at me for a second or two(felt like forever) before it jumped down off the wall and into another yard. The freaky thing was the size just like a human crouching.

Enter home.
Breathe.

No drugs, alcohol, or tired state was involved.

when i moved into magdala street alot of weird stuff started happening to me and my partner. it was all situated i one room tho, the bathroom. items being moved from a particular shelf, falling off the same shelf for no apparent reason, and this room was 4 degrees colder than the rest of the house for no obvious reason.

The best bit was when Stevie used the shower. he would turn it on get in and as soon as he stepped under it would turn scalding hot, so he jumps out turns it off then on again, all seems ok, only this steps into the shower and its freezing. this happened him EVERY time he had a shower and it got so bad he decided to not bother and just call round a mates house and use theirs til he got the shower fixed. i decided to try it myself.. no problems what so ever, the water was always perfect for me and i wasnt doing anything different.
cept for being a girl...
