GFX problem?

My pc kept locking up when i was on the game, mostly if i was playing as soon as i booted up. I asumed this was an overheating problem so bought another fan to try and keep gfx card cool.

this hasnt solved the problem (altho i am gonna keep trying to ccol it some more) but while i was working at it i went and downloaded the new detonator drivers for my gfx card but now when i am playing the game my mouse constantly flickers!! any ideas how i can fix this?

I think this has something todo with Hardware cursor,....

What GFX card are you using ?

--- I got the same problem on my Radeon 9700 Pro card when moving around in keypress mouseview,... but not in freemouseview,... tho i have never really had the need to fix it
