GF fx 5900 U vs ATI Rad 9600 ?

Whats the Quality of DAOC like with the ATI Radeon 9600 ?

Anyone got one and care to mention? As im buying a new PC on monday and would love to know the DAOC difference in gameplay / FPS, over the GF FX 5900 U....

Its a 5900 vs 9800 but , somewhat, related comparison. DaoC-wise , in its current state, i recon 128meg 4/8x agp is enough for intensive rvr action.

What I dont understand is how nVidia doesnt blow the living shit out of ATI. Their research budgets have to be insanely higher and would be capable of developing far superior hardward and drivers.

But this is not the case. On paper the fx 5900 looks far more impressive than the radeons but its the radeon who not only comes in for better value but for better performance.
