Getting rid of xp

Can somebody help us out here please need ME back on my system I have a restore disk for ME which came with the pc from new but it won't format the drive to install it because xp doesn't use FAT 32. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm sorry, I think I missheard you - you want to go back to ME?

See the light and install Win2k Pro

I agree, Win2k is the only way for a stable and powerful operating system.

Tried to install Win2K but comes up with the message can not install a older copy of windows> so god knows

If you don't mind getting rid of all your stuff, go to bios and change boot sequence to CD ROM and stick 2K cd in. It'll go into Dos setup for 2k.

I know how you feel, as already said here, if you dont have any information you can back up, try using a ME bootdisk from the following site then proceed to fdisk :)

If anyone knows of an conversion utility from NTFS to FAT/32 please let us know ! Although i doubt it is easily possible...

place in your recovery cd - if Bios is set to boot from cdrom it will bot from recovery and give you:

1.boot from hard disk
2.boot from cdrom

Choose 2

then choose option 1 to run setup
At Blue screen press enter
then on recommend you exit you should press F3 twice to exit.

at the
D:\win9x prompt type:

FDISK
