Getting rid of the cache?

Sorry to reveal my utter ignorance but wondered if anyone could help. What is the command to get rid of a cached website? (is it shift-F6?)

See, some friends are telling me that my site is not working but when I look at it, I'm still seeing the cached image so it looks like it is...

I think if you hold down SHIFT or CTRL and then Refresh it will ignore the cache and reload.

Clear all your temp internet files in IE->tools->Internet Options ?

Or ctrl + F5 loads the current site fresh, afaik.

Yup, CTRL + F5 is "hard refresh". It ignores the cache and requests everything from the site.
