get 9600XT or 9700PRO or just not bother?

im thinking off getting a new graphic card so far i have a 2.8ghz, 512 ram, and radeon 9200 is it worth upgrading to a 9600XT(£118) or either 9700PRO(£150)???

tho i run games like call of duty, max payne2, batty field 1942,and most other games fine but its just the odd AAA titles like deus EX 2 which runs REALLY crap i mean like some places it runs at less then 5 frames which im still hoping to get... also i run halo quite crap at 15-20 frams

Deus Ex 2 is crap with all ATI cards (even 9800XT). You cannot use AA/AF on it without artifacts (gray dots on faces etc). And crappy frame rates.

I've heard that turning shadows off helps.

9600XT, its a revision to the latest-gen ATI cards, the 9700 pro is an older version, it may be more powerful in the old games, but any new Direct X 9.1b compliant game will make more use of the 9600xt powers.
