Germans/frenchies

I really like Camlann as server and i would not go back to my old boring RvR server in a long time.
But 1 thing that really bothers me is that when you kill some1 they always seems to flame you in either german or french...
I'm in an all scandinavian guild called Hem till Midgård and thousands of times people either flame me or ask me questions in french or german?
Does any 1 else have this problem?!?

Well, I think it has to do with the fact that most german/french players play in german/french guilds so they only have to speak german/french?

well it seems like they don't even want to learn english?
when i talk to them in english they flame me in their native language?
and so many times i have been flamed in both german and french so i'm starting to learn som "bad language" to throw back at em.
and if that does not work i can always flame them in my native language (swedish) what do ye think bout that

works 99% of the time... sometimes, however, you get ppl like the german BD who assumed i was french and started flaming me (in german) for being french

I like camlann. German AND english are both my native languages (mum german, dad english).
As I live in Luxembourg, I learn english, german, french and spanish @ school.

I speak all them languages pretty fluently cept spanish cos I hate it . Camlann also helps me get better at french grammer, so playing DAoC gets me better marks....

So, that must mean PC games aren't all bad eh?

In theory.... if they use French/German/Swedish/Swahili in /b or /s then that's an offence.

Since Camlann in a mostly French speaking server (from what I can tell) I think the rule about Camlann being an English speaking server is out of the window so it's just something we all have to get used to
