gem of lost problem

ne1 else had problems with this enconter just vanishing
was doing it with 4 peeps in grp me and scout and guildie and sensor night mezz sensor i was hitting it it wnt to 10% i was still hitting it and it just vanished (it did not die i simple did not have a target any more)

kind of get you when you have sat there 3 hour to wait fo it

what despawn in less than 2mins after pop while its in combat

Lorelei on Hib/Pryd had the same problem, a CSR said "don't kill it so fast"

well i have done the enc a few times.
And this is what i have experienced.
If ur weapon procs get the finish blow on the terror before it split, then it will not split. Same happens if its a spell/proc from a pet that kills it.
Beside that, well sometimes i have seen the night terror pop, and then before i could do anything, it despawned.
And btw pop is easy to see (all harpys on the island will dissapear)
So if u arrive at the island and dont see any harpys, then its prob bugged.
One of the times where the Night Terror didnt split for me, it took several hours before harpys began to pop again.

So for me its a rare spawn, with a bugged enc, and very low drop rate on gem.

So good luck getting the gem.
Im happy i got the gem on first succesfull kill.

it spawns at any time during the night and despawns at dawn, so that might be why it immediately vanished after spawning?
